(no subject)
Tonight after work Candy and I were at Wal-Mart reading the labels on the herbs and she gets a phone call. It was Kenneth... Well, he is telling her this weird story about seeing Jesus walking down 31 in Pelham.. I thought to myself " He's having another spell... poor thing"... Well she put him on speaker phone and I could tell by his voice he was not kidding.. Well, he's kind of scared and I am too, thinking about the rapture and the end times and all of that... so we decided to meet at The Purple Onion and us all go see what this is...OH MY WORD!!!!! He was not kidding!!!! we see this "Jesus" walking down 31, just like Kenneth had said.. long white robe, long hair, beard, barefoot, carrying a Bible... We are in shock wondering what it is we should do. This guy could be a pshyco, he could be a murderer, OR he could be Jesus!! We just didn't know what to do, but we knew we had to do something... We drove past him, back and forth on 31..back and forth... We decided we had to know and we had to talk to him because if it was Jesus.. we wanted to talkand be his friend... So we all prayed that he wasn't a crazy person with a gun and we turned around... we pulled over and just started talking. He was a traveling evangelist, not a preacher.. this is what he does all the time..ministering to people..just trying to be like Jesus.. He was so sweet it was unreal and he glowed... but he was just a regular guy.. he was not a bum or a beggar... We even tried to give him some money but he wouldn't even hear of it... This man travels all over the place like this... Anyway, talking to him did us all so much good... This was a wonderful man of God... SO if any of you all see a Jesus looking man walking down the road stop and talk... It will make you feel so good!!!
