(no subject)
Oh man...stressful day. I lost my pledge pin today,which is only the worst possible thing you can do. Luckily it was found by a fellow pledgee by complete chance, but its not in good shape. I also had trouble falling asleep last night (as i do most nights) mainly b/c britta came in just as i was going to bed and was making all sorts of noise. Didn't sleep well at all...i go to bed too anxious thinking about pledging and stuff and i wake up what seems like every half hour throughout the night. I think the biggest thing thats been gettin to me (and dont laugh) is this runout/date party thing the weekend we get back. Runout is an all nighter pledging activity and we have to plan, decorate and go to the date party the next day, most likely on no sleep. Okay now, it's a DATE party so naturally i want to bring a date. Considering the options of people i feel comfortable enough with to take are slim, looks like i'll be flying solo. I had a few guys in mind, and to be honest am intimidated to ask. I'd like to think that i'm confident enough to ask em but not lately. There are a lot of other complications that come along with asking few of these guys, mainly due to their fraternities not allowing them to go with me. So do I ask, knowing that they most likely wont be able to go or just accept that i'm going by myself?
I overthink things way too much. I read He's Just Not That Into You again and got all discouraged. The first time i read it I was empowered, this time around i was just disappointed. Not so much in the book, but i could feel the self pity coming back.
3 days til easter break! My plans are:
-Drive home with Erik, Swan and Dan Thursday night
-Interview at B&Bworks Friday
-Study for my Bio and LS exams that are the day after we get back
-Go to Chi town to the Cadaver exhibit with Aaron's family (yay i missed him so much!) and out for easter dinner- apparently my mom and -Mrs. O thought me and Aaron would love this exhibit cuz we're bio majors.. hmm not so much. Regardless, I love the O's and havent seen Aaron since Xmas so it should be fun
-Sleepover Meag's and party with the Loyola kids! (alex, sampy and JOHN!! AH!)
-Easter Mass most likely, chill with the Fam
-Study some more
-Leave on Monday
