Never have I appreciated a dishwasher as much as I did today. While I don't mind washing dishes by hand (I do it all the time at school), I've never had to wash as many as I did this morning. A whole dishwasher load and then some! Ours, at the house, broke earlier this week and we've been trying to figure out where the icky taste on our glasses and bowls was coming from. Finally, we did though, thank goodness! The thing has broke and we're going to have to get a new one, but for now, we have to wash everything by hand. It's a chore, let me tell you!

It's a few weeks before school starts back and I'm beyond excited. While I have no plans to see those who I went on the trip with, I am excited to get back to classes and to start teaching more this semester. At least four lessons this fall and then I start my internship in the Spring! It'll be exciting. I realized as I was looking through my transcript and some paperwork a few days ago that I've already finished my English minor. That means I just have another class (owing of course to the fact that they let me double dip on the minors and my English concentration) to take before finishing up the Literature minor. The class I've signed up for is Shakespearian Literature, but it's with the same teacher who I went on the Greece and Italy trip and I'm quite certain I don't want anything to do with the woman. So, I'm going to have to change it even though I was excited about this course. Fairy Tale Literature sounds promising, but we'll see. I'll have to look around during Drop/Add week.
