Happy holidays are pouncing upon us, complete with a burst of white stuff from the sky -
FOR A PRESENT - how about some free december theater?
~ hopefully we'll see you in Ballard next week. This theatre experience involves foot travel. Each night begins at stated time at Cupcake Royale.

365 Days 365 Plays Project to the streets…
Of Ballard.
(Dress warmly. We suggest bringing an umbrella, just in case.)
theater simple will be performing week #5 of Suzan-Lori Parks 365 days 365
Plays
in and around downtown Ballard, beginning each night's performance at
Cupcake Royale on NW Market Street.
The plays will snowball through the week, beginning with 1 on Dec 11, two plays on Dec 12, four plays on Dec 14 and so on. By the end of the week, there will be TEN plays performed in cafes, at crosswalks, in stairwells, in front of the library. (Three 'extra' plays called 'constants', also written by Ms. Parks, will be scattered various places various days of the week.)"Drive-by art" mused artistic instigator Llysa Holland. "Some of the audience won't even be aware that it's happening until they are in the middle of it. The point is that art IS everywhere everyday already. We're just framing it a little more obviously."

4:00pm Sunday December 17, 2006 - plays 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,-6 + play 7: Tree

All plays will begin at Cupcake Royale/Coffee Verite. 2052 NW Market Street in downtown Ballard, Seattle. Where we end up will always be different.
How much:
All you'll need to spend is time. The art is free. Food Bank collection opportunity- bring that food and take away a cupcake! Thank you in advance for your donation.
