Title: A Picture Worth a Thousand Words
Summary: Kurt wants to be a photographer. It's all he's ever wanted, ever since his mother put a camera in his hands when he was five. But in order to get into the exclusive program he has his eyes on, he not only needs money, but a something that will set him apart from all the other students vying for a spot. Which is why winning the Carl Aldrich Multimedia Art Competition (with a prize of $250,000) is essential to his plans. But when his advisor tells him that his portfolio won't be enough to win him the prize, not to mention a spot in the program of his dreams, he has to scratch everything and start from the beginning. He goes to a thrift store to look for inspiration and finds a diary. Inside the diary (written in from the first page to the last) are a handful of photographs stuck in the spine of a handsome young man - Devon Blaine Anderson. After reading the diary, he realizes this man's story could be his own, so he goes looking for him. He finds him living in the Hamptons. He also finds his grandson - who looks exactly like him - Blaine Devon Anderson. Kurt is invited to stay over spring break so he can photograph Devon for his project, but he starts to fall in love with Blaine. How will that change when he finds out Blaine is there photographing is grandfather in the hopes of winning the same competition?
