Star Trek AU -- could be TOS, reboot films, or TNG. If they're at the academy together, is it love at first sight? If they don't meet until they're assigned to the Enterprise, then what areas do they serve in? Is Kurt a Vulcan with better fashion sense (or a gay captain Picard?) ? Is Blaine a Trill (or a gay captain Kirk?)? Inquiring minds want to know...

Inception AU. -- I'd like to see Kurt in the Arthur role and Blaine could be the mark or another member of the team.

AU fic rocks in any fandom. It amazes me how people come up with these; although in the case of some of the Klaine fics I'm seeing, I've watched some movies on Netflix that give me an inkling. ;-)

I'm doing the same thing with some books I've read, so...no harm, no foul. There's a difference between inspiration and plagiarism, and we are all inspired. :)
