Christmas is good! I love it! I mean it didn't feel like it was Christmas until we had our family gathering at my Aunt Mary Anne's house and played Dirty Santa and ate. I mean I love my family! I really do! I'm one of the few lucky people in this world that wouldn't trade my family for anything! I also got visited by "Santa" (my mom refuses to say it's not Santa and it's her b/c well, she's just that way :)!) and I got to spend more time with my mom, Marissa, Paul, and Mary Beth, who are all people I love and enjoy being around. The only thing I wish is that David could have been here to experience all this b/c his family really doesn't do anything really special like my family does. I told him he will have to be there Christmas Eve night for "Santa" to come next year. Despite David's absense, I've had a great Christmas ... I have over $400 in cash and about $150 in gift cards including the $100 gift card to Best Buy. I really like my gifts, but I also love the attitude and meaning of Christmas. I'm so glad our family tries to keep Jesus in Christmas b/c I mean no Jesus in Christmas ruins Christmas for me. Though we only sang Christmas carols about him and read the Christmas Story, we still have the attitude of thankfulness that God sent this irreplacable gift to undeserving people like us. I mean I'm reading into, but Christmas is the day that we celebrate what God gave us to set us free... it's crazy how that gets pushed aside and made the least important thing on Christmas. I mean that's our salvation and meaning in life, and I don't get how on a designated day to worship Jesus and be thankful for what He has done for us, we as Christians still don't. I know I'm just getting on my soap-box here, but it just bothers me. Well, I'm going to my Uncle Joe's in Atlanta in like 20 or 30 minutes and I still have to get a shower ... I will talk to you guys later! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I love you all! See ya!
