And no new posts by anyone. Over here? Nope, nothing there either. How about here. Well, nothing of substance. It's become silent over the last few months. Seems like little of substantive quantity is being blogged posted or shared. Have we become too busy, too boring, or do the status updates and tweets vent off the built-up steam of blogging to the point where there is no need to blitzkrieg the posting wibdow with the amassed expectations you failed to achieve, dreams you have adopted, adventures you endured and emotions you need to share?
Or is this a symptom of a larger ailment? Have we begun to dissolve as a community? Growing farther and farther apart to the point where we don't have anything to say anymore? Have the woes and dramas fragmented us to the point where we are no longer comfortable sharing the great truths in our lives with the people on our lists? If so, why are they on our lists? Are we afraid of the confrontation and hurting of others so much that we silence ourselves?
Or have we simply become quiet people. Living quiet lives and simply have nothing to say? Or rather do we feel we have nothing to offer? Perhaps our routine will fascinate. Perhaps our pains are less and we as a blogging community simply aren't good at sharing our happiness. We are too busy living in it.
I hope for that. I hope your lives are wonderful and that's why I don't her from you. As always, I know people pass from my life when they no longer need me. But, sometimes it would be nice to hear an update.
