Show tonight was among the closest we've come to a play, I think. Simple homecoming story with some nice character twists. Relationships and characters had increased depth with each scene. And it even it had a totally absurd/silly scene towards the top that ended up putting significant events into motion towards the end.
My favorite moment, though, was the kitchen flub which became my parents turning my room into a second kitchen, which caused Wendy to have to sleep in the garage, which made her discover the family photos, which made my father nostalgic about our relationship, which made me apologize instead of fight him, which made us reconcile, which ended the show.
Only in improv.
