LOL!
Amy got her instrument today at band camp, and brought home her snare drum and xylophone. They are starting on the bells, so that's what she set up in her room to practice. Donny, of course, is completely fascinated by them, so we made it clear they weren't a toy and he's not supposed to play them without permission. The next conversation went like this:
Amy: "Donny, leave me alone. I have to practice."
Donny: "But I have to practice, too!"
Amy: "No, you don't. You don't get to take band until the sixth grade."
Donny: "Sixth grade?!? I could be dead by then!"
I almost fell out of my chair laughing. *g*
Amy: "Donny, leave me alone. I have to practice."
