This morning my muscles were complaining a bit from Pilates last night - we did quite a lot of barre exercises. I really enjoyed it, but it was very hard work and involved a lot of use of the props around the hall (including propping one leg up on top of the radiators to stretch the legs out while doing pliés). I didn't find the exercises hard, but

Your Christmas rose looks lovely. I'm thinking of things to go in our "new" garden at the moment and that will definitely be on the list.

I bought it as a tiny plant at the Chelsea Physic garden and it’s done amazingly well over the years. You can really just ignore it (you don’t prune it like a regular rose) and it flowers almost all the way through the year. I’d recommend them.
