Tax

I am always amazed at people who volunteer to be penalized by the tax department even more than normal. It seems some people just can’t stop having a work identity. It is that horrid puritan work ethic that is still living inside people’s mental reel. Time for her to be something other than a title.

We have a friend who worked a very hard job for thirty years and retired in November 2001. He just finally retired for real December 31st of 2019 from his second very demanding job. I hope he finds his way without his professional identity.

Since we retired we don’t talk about what we use to do. Nobody as our older neighbours what they use to do. Some of our neighbours have been retired longer than they worked at this point. We still enjoy them as people with zero knowledge about what they did to pay the bills in the past.

I think my friend doesn’t know what to do with spare time so she fills it with work but she really doesn’t need the pittance she gets paid working with children (a very low paid job!). I keep saying she could come out with me lol!

LOL my heart rate goes up in Pilates sometimes - usually from exhaustion! But that's great that your class has added a cardiac component.

We have a cardio section and we also use hand weights for another section. I think she’s trying to kill us ....

Yes to the sewing, the tire, in the middle of rush hour no less, not sure I could do it now though, and the lamp. I am like you in spending and as for T.V. shows I don't know, I don't watch much T.V.
