Art!
Today I went to the first of my 'Art Appreciation' class which was really interesting. We looked at different artists and paintings and analysed how they had used perspective, the foreground, the background and various other aspects. We also heard about a couple of exhibitions in London that look like they are worth a visit, so I shall be going up to see those when I have some time! The class are full of people who have done lots of these courses with the tutor as she makes sure the course isn't just repeated every year, so that's encouraging too.
I've been productive today as I baked two loaves of sourdough bread before I left this morning which I'd set up to prove in the 'fridge overnight. After class I grabbed some groceries on the way home and I made bolognaise sauce for dinner tonight and some fresh pesto to have in the 'fridge for another day. I've also been sat on by the cats who are still happy we are back LOL!
It's been raining, raining, raining, so I'm so happy we had a sunny holiday week last week! This morning I was a bit worried I might need a boat to get to class LOL!

24 Is cereal soup?
I don't know what this means. Of course it's not soup - you don't cook cereal (or at least I don't!) - even cold soups are prepared, cooked and then served cold. Otherwise you might as well say a smoothie is soup......
I do love cereal with yogurt - my favourite is Alara Organic Classic Apple Bircher which the Giki app* on my phone tells me is responsibly sourced, has better packaging (no plastic!), uses sustainable palm oil and is organic. It's also delicious!
* a really useful way to find out which groceries use responsibly sourced ingredients which are ethically produced - just scan the product or search on their database
