We had a lovely weekend - Mr Cee went to collect Eldest Cee from the South coast and got there and back in record time as there was nothing on the roads! We've had a sociable Saturday with him, then Sunday morning a friend came round and we exchanged presents and had a catch up.  The rest of the day was spent tidying up the last few things and

I have a recipe too but I wasn’t that impressed. I thought it was a bit like advocat (spelling?) - I suspect it’s a bit of a love it or hate it thing.

Oh, we are the same age, but it was a friend who told me about Santa when I was 8 or ( ... and I remember my brothers believing in him.

Sorry - but I have any and every colour of light except white. It fact I have a quite a few colour changing ones, that I bought the last couple of years Mum was alive, because as she lost most of her sight they really worked for her.

Yes I have always had a walk after dinner, even without dogs to exercise, it is a nice tradition

I used to have coloured lights but as my tree ornaments are in a fairly narrow palette of gold and browns they look better with a creamy white. I have cranberry coloured lights in another part of the house and bright colours outside in the back garden.

Walking after a big meal is such a nice thing to do. We meet a lot of dog walkers ;)

I wish Christmas pudding were a thing here in the States. I don't think I've ever had it, but it sounds lovely.

It's a good thing egg nog hasn't caught on over there; it's full of everything bad for you. Tasty, but bad in so many ways.

I'm with ya on the "tired of Christmas songs." I don't play them on purpose, so all I'm exposed to I can't help be exposed to.
