Bandwagon I am jumping aboard.....

Seen on several journals.....

πŸ’ Marriages: One. We celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary in October.

πŸ’” Divorces: None.

🍼 Children: 2 strapping boys. Eldest Cee is 27 and is just about to own his own place, but he's not lived with us for 5 years. He's very settled on the South Coast of England which only takes just over an hour to drive to, and he has visited us a few times by coming up on the train (as he doesn't drive). He works in publishing (the IT side) and his company is doing well, so he has a secure job with good prospects and a very good wage (and bonuses!).  Youngest Cee is 25 and moved out a year ago. He part owns his own very nice flat around 30 minutes drive from us - he has his own car, so he visits quite often. He's had two jobs so far, and is also in publishing, but the commissioning side. He's really enjoying his present job and has been confirmed as a permanent staff member now, so I'm hoping that means he's well settled for a few years at least. We're going over to see him on Sunday for lunch.

🐦 Pets right now: 3 cats - two female and one male, 7 year old siblings. 2 ancient fancy fantail goldfish (we can't remember when we bought them, but we think one of them is now 14 and the other one is 12!).

βš•οΈ Surgeries: Tonsils and adenoids out when I was 5 years old. Nothing else so far.

βœ’ Tattoos: Nope.

πŸ‘‚πŸΌ Piercings: One in each ear.

βœ‹πŸΌ Quit a job: Oh yes - I've quite a couple mostly because I've found other things that were better to move on to. I quit my last one as it was far too stressful, took too much of my time and started to become far too much about money, and not so much about quality of student evidence. I think they were relieved I went LOL!

🌴 Been to an Island: I live in the UK which is a large island, but apart from that I've visited Norwegian islands.

🚘 What do you drive: We have two cars - a Smart ForTwo which is cute and teeny (a two seater) and handy to take to places where it's difficult to park. Our second car is a fully electric Nissan Leaf which is fabulous to drive and I love the eco side of it.

✈️ Flown on a plane: Yes several times.

🍹 Favourite Drink: If I'm thirsty I really like fresh cold water. I am partial to Fleurie red wine on occasion....

❀ Fallen in love: Yes!

πŸ’” Been cheated on: No.

πŸš‘ Rode in an ambulance: No.

🎀 Sang karaoke: I've sung solos on a stage - does that count?

❄ Ice skating: Mr Cee and I used to go regularly and I'm not very good, but once the children came along it was too far to trek to our local rink.

πŸ„ Been surfing: No...

🚒 Been on a Cruise: No.

🏍 Rode on a motorcycle: Yes - my Dad had a motorcycle and I was a regular pinion passenger.

🏍 Own a motorcycle: No - Mr Cee had a few though.

🐴 Rode on a horse: Yes - I miss going riding, but it's sooooo expensive round here...

😲 Almost died: No. Occasionally felt like I was going to when I've had the 'flu.

πŸ₯ Stayed in a hospital: 3 times - tonsellectomy and two babies.

πŸ‘ Favourite fruit: That's equally blueberries and raspberries.

πŸŒ“ Favourite Day: I like Fridays recently as Mr Cee often works at home on a Friday, and I have Pilates which is a nice way to stretch after lots of busy things in the week. It's also the day we have a nice dinner (usually home made) and some wine.

🌈 Favourite colour: I like purple for clothes and things like watch straps. I like natural colours for decor and furnishing.

πŸ“² Last phone call: Youngest Cee rang us last night and we both had a chat with him about stuff.

πŸ“± Last text: From Eldest Cee saying he STILL doesn't have a moving date yet.... :(

πŸ’€ Watch someone pass: No.

🍡️ Coffee or Tea: Coffee - black, no sugar please.

🍽🍰 Favourite pie: Apple - I'm the only one of the family who likes cooked apples so I rarely have apple pie unless I make myself a little one.

πŸ• Favourite pizza: Home-made preferably - I like vegetarian options with home-made tomato base with fresh mozarella, onions, mushrooms, black olives, herbs and a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I might throw on some anchovies if I have any.

🐢 Cats or dogs: I like both, but I don't have the patience to train a dog and take it out for walks in an urban environment. Cats fit our lifestyle much better.

🌞 Favourite Season: If I'm only allowed one I'll plumb for Spring because I love seeing the fresh new leaves on the trees and all the blossom.

πŸŽƒ Favourite holiday: I like Christmas with the family.

That was fun!

This morning has been a typical Friday with Mr Cee working at home and Pilates this morning which was hard and I know there are some muscles I am going to notice tomorrow! I took delivery of some trousers from Long Tall Sally today and unfortunately it seems I have gone down another size for their clothing and I'm going to have to send back a couple of my purchases as they are far too big for me (which is annoying and rather satisfying at the same time!).

Later on this rather dreary, misty day there will be curry and alcohol, which I'm really looking forward to, but in the meantime I have time for the next question in the grateful meme - 9 What place are you most grateful for? I am very grateful to have found my house after a turbulent couple of years of trying to move from our last home. It's comfortable, warm, and really hasn't needed much doing to it to make it 'ours'. It's also perfect to see us into retirement and beyond and I'm really enjoying restyling the garden.

Happy Friday all!
