Phew!

I officially stopped being paid to work last Friday, however there's been a few left over things to do, so I ended up at work today and yesterday *boooooo!*

However - I have now officially apart from checking a few straggling things and planning new stuff for September finished work for the summer!

*collapses*

Back at work on 31st August which will come around too fast.

Time for a book of days I think....

Outside my window: It's been a very humid and rather overcast day with grey clouds mostly. Very hot too, which is rather uncomfortable.

My thoughts... Thank goodness for the summer break! Youngest Cee stops school on Thursday, but as he only has one lesson to go in for then I'm tempted to let him start his school break tomorrow. We're planning some days out over the holiday with the boys, but no 'official' holiday this year because both boys need to take their driving tests this holiday so lots of driving lessons need to be paid for! :)

Today's Quote... "Well behaved women rarely make history" Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

I am thankful for... Time to spend with the family.

What I learned this week... Two days spent at the office have meant I'm far more ready for September and teaching than I would have been if I'd stayed at home.

From the kitchen last week... Salads and fruit mostly. Tonight we shall have venison burgers, new potatoes and coleslaw *tummy rumbles*

I am creating (crafts, sewing etc)... I have to write two new courses for September delivery, but I shall be making time for graphics I think.

My adventures this week... (where are you going this week?).. Relaaaaaaaaaaxing this week ;)

Becoming well read (What are you reading this week?).. I'm reading Jeff Abbot's book 'Adrenaline'. I've just finished 'Panic' which was very good, and so far this one is very gripping too. He's a new author to me, and I really like how he writes.

I manifest and co-create (what are your hopes and dreams this week) I haven't got much further than planning to relax, but I will probably have more ideas later in the week.

Melody (what music are you listening to? even if it's just the sound of a bird).. I've been using 'Genius' on iTunes a lot this week as I rather like how it puts together playlists for me which include tunes I've not listened to for a while.

One of my favourite things... Time off.

Goals reached last week... Fantastic reaction to our courses being so successful this year and turning around the disaster of last year's results. We've gone from a failing set of courses (grade 4), to a 'good' (grade 2). Yay us!

Things that made my week this week... Moving office, throwing away a lot of junk and streamlining. Good feeling.

Still life (share a picture you've taken OR a picture you found online that speaks to you)...

I dug out an old Lj layout which I made and I really like using in the summer. kazzy_cee if you've not seen it.
