It's Shrove Tuesday, or pancake day in my house. I can't wait - they are possibly the most fun thing to make and eat. I like them really really thin like crepes with sugar and lemon juice.

I had crêpes on Saturday for it was La Chandeleur!

I like them thin with sugar, nothing else.

Today is Mardi Gras so I should make beignets(doughnuts)or bugnes but I'm feeling lazy...

Mmmmm - simple is best! I do like American style pancakes, but on Shrove Tuesday it's got to be traditional pancakes.

Oh I will be having drop pancakes....a bit thicker and smaller, but yummy warm. Takes me back to when I made them for the family. *Sigh*
