Journy of The Staff : Uneasy Savours
it started with me walking on a sunny afternoon. I was dressed in usual attire, black clothing with a hint of dark blue in it with the wrists,ankles and waist all fitted to me while everything else was airy and flowing. It was a cooler day but it didn't bother me not sure why given the lightness of my clothing. anyway.
I'd been traveling awhile when i rounded a bend and from the bushes and trees half a dozen "bandits" jumped out at me....
they wanted my staff, which as posted in another post is usually held across my back in these dreams. one end (the silver one) over my right shoulder, black end past my left hip.
now, other dreams I fought Knights, guards, monsters, and little eatting things....but these "bandits" and i use the term losely. worried me....so....I ran
they chased me a good deal of a way before I spotted them up ahead. Two people on horse back fully armored in full plate, helms like metal bubbles with eye slots. The armor was a metalic blue looking color and shined thusly, the man was large and broad and held a sword and shield (the shield was on his back) the other rider was a woman with a lance and a far stronger looking horse then the mans.
The two made quick work of dispatching the chasing bandits and after they were sure it was safe again turned to check on me. IT was now they got uneasy, the woman had to reing her horse as she tried to back up so suddenly at seeing the item on my back, the male rolled his head like he was ready for a fight but neither one of them did anything hostile. In fact the woman spoke of giving me a lift to town if i was headed that way
which i graciously accepted
we didn't speak much they didn't want to speak to me really. and in the end it wasn't long before we reached town, much to the dismay of many there.
thing was, i knew this wasn't the right town it just felt wrong, so after i got some supplies, and avoided some crowds I headed out of town on a different path on horse back. the knights who helped me said they couldn't go with me but they gave me a horse so i could out run the "bandits" better
and I woke up
