Yay! Also, I'm nuts!
First, the Yay!
I have finally had success resetting my AIM password! This was rather annoying, as I did the email method the first time, which did not work. This time, I used the shortcut that's on the sign-up in the first place, and it went much faster. Also, it worked!
Now, the I'm nuts!
I'm trying to shape my fingernails better, and for this have elected to use one of my oval templates to figure out the curve and maybe even get it right. ^^; Some of my impetus to do this is that I found two purple nail polish colors, and a nice dark teal. As a bonus, one of the purples is glittery. Heh. :) Alas, shaping nails this way is harder than it sounds. ^^;
The second part of me that is currently nuts is that I'm considering going to Anime Boston next year. It's been awhile since I've been to an anime con (like, 10+ years, actually), and this one has the bonus of being close to an old friend I haven't seen since I spent a semester in Japan back in 2000. Also, there's a Book Off in New York, which means any books I don't find at the con would potentially be accessible on the way home. The downer side is, surprisingly enough for two people going (myself and my "sister") it would be less expensive to rest a car and drive to Boston than it would to take the bus. O_o Dwah?
Right now, the only conventions I'm mostly committed to going to next year is Anthrocon 2011 in Pittsburgh. I might also attend/sell stuff at Anime Iowa and/or Anime Detour, both of which are closer to home.
We shall see what happens. I need to get my (new) wares finished first, and that's going to take some time. :)
