To all my Singaporean friends:

Don't bother shopping at the Dr. Martens flagship store here if you can already find the same designs of the Dr. Martens boots in the other places that stock it (Taka, etc. I think).

I expected better service for the kind of price I was paying for boots.

-sighs- I know right, service in SG sucks sometimes. Especially since they are such an established brand, like brand. Of course one would expect excellent service. I don't think they even have any service to speak of. What would foreigners think if they encounter this. -explodes-

Sometimes even neighbourhood aunties offer better service than established malls. And they don't choose customers. I think that Dr Martens people probably thought you looked too young to be able to spend in their store. Tch.

I actually think that if the foreigners look sufficiently Caucasian, the salespeople would be all over them in a heartbeat :/
