Some Other and Big Brother 7
Cello! Yes I am still alive :) It's been upwards of 30 degrees for the past 4 or 5 days so melting was a possibility ;). After viewing the photos of the beautiful Staci I am reminded that Jack is finishing grade 7 this week. It's been a long and not great year for him but he is a good and happy ....eeeeeekkkk......TEEN and we are proud of him as well. There is a dance tonight. I noticed in his yearbook that only GIRLS have signed it lol. His interest in the fairer sex is beginning to show.
I don't really want to talk about work as it's still the same crap ( plus other crap as Greyhound is cutting some routes so it may not be worth it to work there as the money wont' be as good ) Something is keeping me there ( it's the fact I LOVE the job ) however it is just not financially feasible anymore. I have been in contact with that local grocer I have talked about before and I can work there if I want but I would have to quit the depot as I would be on call for the first while. I am giving myself until July 7th to have an answer from Trish and I will make the final decision. Okay stop talking about work!!!!!!!!
Don and I have been working very hard at paying off a stubborn credit card but I finally got the balance down to zero as of the last statement. We havent' used it for 3 1/2 years and I have cancelled it as of now. We each have one in our own names and they are both at zero and would be used for emergency plane tickets or if something horrid happened to the house. It's been quite humbling not using credit of any kind for the past 3 years but it makes you think what it is you really NEED as opposed to WANT. .........end of sermon :)
I am sooooooooooo looking forward to BIG BROTHER 7 . This year is 'All Stars' and the public will vote 12 of 20 contestents back on to the show . It's our summer quilty pleasure. I have budgeted so we can watch the live feeds ( yes I know it's sick! ) I have been looking at the UK site. I wish the show was more like the UK version and the public could vote the people off.
