Handsome List
Handome list is out. Even though I think polls are stupid, because no one ever seems to ask me, mine, or anyone identifiable, it is nice to see my boy on it. Kamenashi Kazuya has a very versatile face and appearance, so for one of his sides, the "handsome" one, to be recognized by individuals in some anonymous group entrusted with a choice, is great. With that said however, some comments concerning the article are getting on my nerves. And since "I am the Lorax and I speak for the trees," and champion justice at every opportunity (I get it for my mommy, she is a professional advocate), I must address some of the annoying and thoughtless comments I have read on various sites about Kame's appearance on the list.
Can't some of you just say a variation of "congratulations" and keep it pushing? What's up with the "Where's Jin?" I don't know, and neither does Kame. Jin is a gorgeous guy, but maybe some people don't think so, or prefer others over him, and therefore cast a different vote. Maybe they don't know him like others have said, but either way, Kame's accomplishments are in no way a detriment to Jin and vice versa. There is no reason to make the snyde comments about Kame's size and weight, or make a case for a revised definfition of handsome and a more appropriate method of classification. None of the other members were on there either, but no one took up a mantle for them. If Kame is on something, does it automatically mean Jin has to be too? Why?
Is Kame more cute over handsome? If he's handome, is Jin beautiful? Does it matter? Kame was voted 4th handsome by some random group, Jin wasn't, so the fuck what. This destructive and probably fan imposed rivalry between the two is stupid, and really needs to stop. Why is it an issue as to who is more attractive? They are both gorgeous guys who add value to KAT-TUN in their own unique way. Neither one is better or worst or necesarily does more for KAT-TUN, they just are. They play their parts, do their best, and keep on living, so please give them an f-ing break. It really pisses me off to see everything between the two get compared. One can't make a move without someone going, "Why him?" or "Where's the other?" they both have their own paths that stem from the same beginning. Nothing more, nothing less. Why can't supposed KAT-TUN fans cheer all of the members? Of course everyone has a favorite, mine is quite obvious, but having a preference is no reason not to support the success of the other members, or be an ass when they do achieve something. Ultimate goal, "Don't be an ass," and there are def a few of you supposed fans that are, and you are hella annoying!!!
