I am dreading Kakashi vs Sasuke too!!! D: Because it's such a complete given that Sasuke will face Naruto, no way he's going to like lose/die (and like yeah, I wonder how he's going to fight Kakashi who is so much fresher than he is atm)... you know. BUT BUT BUT. CAN THEY FRIGGIN' TIE!?! I MEAN LIKE LET SOMEONE INTERRUPT!!!! PREFERABBLY NARUTO! Then hopefully, I can see what powers Itachi gave him...
Ah hem, that said, I was... kind of heartbreaking for Sasuke when he told Kakashi that he'd stop what he was doing if Kakashi could return Itachi, his parents and his clan back. Although, I was semi-squeeing that he mentioned his Nii-san first. XD *clings to any mention of Itachi by Sasuke*
Sakura. I thought she'd totally lost it when she was all, "Let me join you, Sasuke!" I totally was staring at the page and going "O.O WTF?" Although it did turn out that she was trying to bluff Sasuke. EH WELL. I generally try not to think about her too much. If at all. (though, gosh, why do I actually read SasuSaku fics on the occasion?? maybe it's cause some fandom!Sakura read better... characterisation-wise?)
IT WAS THE LAMEST ASSASINATION ATTEMPT IN THE HISTORY OF NINJA IN NARUTO.
Sigh, i guess she fell for the wrong guy since hinata would give everything for naruto too [but hinata's nice] but she's still so obtrusively offensive and insensitive all around.
Hmm..if naruto interrupts now...the story will end kinda fast. haha. My preferable ending would be a sasuke-conversion somewhere before the end and they face madara together which would fit a nice naruto interruption about now. Naruto can always use itachi's powers on madara, as madara was the perosn itachi was most guarded against. But i dunno, it doesnt seem very likely to me. By naruto standards and looking at the way its going, Sasuke might be the "bad" guy to the end. But by naruto standards again....the story's all about naruto turning everyone into saints with his words alone. So we'll see.
YEAH EXACTLY. I DUNNO WHY PPL KEEP SAYING SASUKE IS BLAHBLAHBLAH WHEN HE IS OBVIOUSLY SO BURIED UNDER THE PAIN OF IT ALL. If he did that to karin earlier then yeah, but now his motive is not to get "stronger" anymore, its extremely meaningless to him now after the incident, and its more revenge. zz.

True, that Naruto interrupting would end the story pretty fast. But if the interruption serves to convert Sasuke... That'd be good. In fact, for some reason, I hope that whatever powers Itachi gave Naruto would help in that direction. *has a fic idea of Itachi storing a genjutsu in Naruto* I really don't want Sasuke to be the "bad" guy until the end. So some Naruto-saint!magic might be nice, lol. ^^"
I don't like the Sasuke-bashing going on, in regards to his current behaviour. I wish he wouldn't be like this, but I can't quite fault him for it either. He's been through so much already. Realizing the brother he had hated for so long was actually a victim after he killed said brother... Like c'mon, Sasuke's gotta be affected, and it probably would result in very drastic measures.
I remember being quite touched that he would save Karin that time with Amaterasu. So I was a bit sad at him wanting to kill her now. But Sasuke's so consumed by pain and hatred towards those stupid village elders... I feel bad for him too. SIGH.
Please, work it out somehow, Naruto. Preferably with no deaths to certain key characters.
If its naruto, no one will die -.-. Naruto just defeats them, and when they're decapitated, sorry, lol, incapacitated, its easier to talk to them and smile. HAHAHA
