the weather affects blogging... but not fangirling eventually XD

Apr 26, 2009 14:52

I have given up trying to catch up on my F-list archive (and instead, focus on clearing my backlog of to-read-fanfics). Despite being online over the past few weeks, other than checking the comms that send alerts to my email whenever they're updated, I have not been checking up on my other communities. >.< There're primarily 2 reasons for that:

1. No time
2. The weather being insanely hot and the fact that my computer is in the living room WHERE THERE IS NO AIR-CON.

And also... probably because I don't want to use my mom's notebook to go to my blog (has wireless now, so can grab notebook, stay in room WITH AIRCON to use the Internet). I've taken great pains to make sure she doesn't know where it is. Not going to let her like accidentally see my history on her notebook. ^^"

Eh well. Things have to give somehow, nah? But well, it's luckily raining right now, so the weather's cooler. Which is why I can blog. Haha. XD A number of things happening over the week, like me covering RJ Piano Ensemble's concert on Friday. Partly so that I can fulfill my requirements of being in RJ Photog, but also partly to support Zhi Hua who was also performing. ^^ But I must say that I enjoyed last year's concert better, even though I took better pictures this year. XD" Probably has to do with the concert planning... *coughs*

On the anime/manga front... the latest Bleach chapter had me going: OMG NO HITSU! Kubo had better not decide to off another character so soon after Ulquiorra. I will not be pleased at all. It also brings me to question why characters I like seem to be easily... kill-able by the manga-kas. As in, they render themselves in situations that they die to save someone or the world... such be their personalities. Must be some subconscious thing that makes me like them. -,-"

Naruto is flashbacking, so nothing much on that. I almost forgot Vampire Knight coming out, but yeah chapter 49 is out.

SHIKI I ADORE YOU FOR GOING TO LOOK FOR TAKUMA! :D See, they're such a canon pair! Though poor, poor Takuma is kinda suffering at the hands of Sara, another pureblood vampire... who has her eyes on Kaname. SIGH. Takuma, be careful okay?

Chapter 49 renders me more irritated towards Yuuki. Though that might not be anything new. I am, however, trying to ignore the fact that Kaname and Yuuki have more or less "consumated" their... well, it's not marriage, that's for sure. Like, reunion? Union? On second thoughts, I don't want to think about it. I'm sure the Kaname/Yuuki fangirls will have enough fanart and fanfiction to churn out from this chapter. No doubt I think 90% will have smut. SIGH.

The last page or so shows a time skip of 1 year, AND OMG WE SEE ZERO NOW! :D And he really is hunting down the purebloods from what's being seen. I hope chapter 50 will focus a bit more on him, since he ends the last page of this chapter after all. ^^ Still, Zero gives me the feeling that he's changed a lot. Or it could be because he's interacting with a vampire, hence the rough treatment and the eventual, "Then die now." *whips out Bloody Rose*

From this chapter, it seems that the next villian is likely to be Sara. Or she would play a large antangonist role... And perhaps Zero too. It'd be interesting. ^^"

And the manga that had me on the edge of my seat waiting for it: D.Gray-Man Chapter 186!

a;fdjalskdfj;akdf! WHY DID YOU END IT ON A CLIFFHANGER SORT OF THING HOSHINO-SENSEI!? AND NEXT WEEK, THERE'S GONNA BE NO SHOUNEN JUMP! D:

Kanda was apparently... created by the Order in an experiment to create "second Exorcists" because of the lack of people compatible with Innocence being found. Currently there isn't much information on what the "second Exorcists" are... but Kanda's the product of that experiment. Also, apparently Bak's family and this other branch head's family was in charge of the "synthetic disciple" project forced upon them by the heads of the Order (I frickin' want to kill them, GAH), after which both families swore to stop doing these kinds of experiments. Of course, with the appearance of the "third Exorcists", who are part Akuma, the vow didn't hold true on that other family's part.

The thing about Kanda and lotuses... also seems to have something to do with him being able to see a flower (specifically, a lotus from the drawings) that other people can't see when he was nine (cause experiment was 9 years ago, according to Bak, and Kanda's 18). And it has to do with the cook from the Asian branch, who is also a master swordsmith, who made Mugen. And was the person to tell Kanda that he's not seeing the flower for it's just an illusion. The chapter kinda ends with that person thinking, "Kanda, do you still see the flower?" and then the next panel shows Kanda (standing where he was in most of the chapter, which is with Bak in some room) in a room filled with flowers... of which I'm sure the implication is that he is the only one who can see them.

LIKE OMG HOW CAN HOSHINO-SENSEI END THERE!? Furthermore, there's this note in the last panel, to which I'm not sure if it merely implies the DGM is on hiatus next week, cause Shounen Jump is not publishing.... Or DGM IS GOING ON ANOTHER FREAKING HIATUS! I hope it's the former, but the way things were phrased... it sounded like it's the latter instead. >.< DON'T WANT.

But well, this chapter also makes me wonder if the lotus in Kanda's hourglass... Can it be seen by other people? Could it be the very first lotus that he saw because of that experiment? I can't remember if the manga's mentioned anyone else seeing Kanda's hourglass lotus before. But I think not, since he's so private and all. I'm sure nobody's gone into his room in the Order before. So many questions about Kanda! And so many possible angst fic ideas! OMG! I want the next chapter of DGM LIKE NOW!

Okay, gotta go do homework now. Bye for now~
