Gosh, I want Kain to be my boyfriend. I'd marry him in a heartbeat. Seriously. *.* He is so sweet, so devoted and so so so *.* Gosh, he fairly THREATENED Kaname as much as a noble could threaten a pureblood with all the natural limits of the hierachical system of the vampires. Seriously, if Kaname weren't who he was (you HAVE TO admit this, even if you detest Kaname - which I don't, but just saying to someone out there), Kain could've DIED at that moment. LIKE SPLAT. DEAD. Okay, lemme explain the scenario a lil'. It took place during the time where Yuuki was young and wandered into the Moon Dorms and fell asleep at the stairs. Kaname picks her up and carries her to his room, where he really almost bit her if not for Ruka's intervention. I like Ruka a bit more now, after the incident... She really didn't have to look out for Yuuki, although come to think of it, it was probably because she didn't want Kaname to regret biting Yuuki, since Kaname has been really protective of Yuuki from all the other vampires and probably himself too. So there she offered her blood to him. What we DIDN'T KNOW was that Kain was OUTSIDE THE ROOM THE ENTIRE TIME. And because of something that happened in an earlier flashback, he already knew that Ruka wouldn't hesitate to give her blood to Kaname. OH KAIN.
Kain's threatening follows soon after Yuuki rushes out of the room when she awakes, shocked by Kaname drinking blood from Ruka and showing his uh true scary nature. Kain enters the room, Kaname and Kain talk a little and Kaname hands Ruka over to Kain who carries her so delicately! *.* Then before Kain leaves, he says this to Kaname:
"I don't mean to say... that I want you to reciprocrate her feelings, Kaname-sama, but... If in the future, you end up causing her unhappiness... Then I will not forgive you."
KAIN. YOU. LOVE YOU. It's about as close to "I will kill you" that an aristocrat can say to a pureblood. I'm sure some purebloods have killed lower-ranked vampires for less. *.* KAIN~ MARRY ME NOW. OH GOSH. *.*

Maybe too uh obliging towards Ruka but but but... if all that attention and devotion was on me, I'D SWOON AND BE ALL OVER HIM. OH KAIN.
