Foiled again!
Today, I again thought about how horribly complicated it would be to map my family tree--specifically, the part of the tree that I am actually familiar with (i.e., the people I have actually met). I started talking about it with my mom today.
Mom: Well, I have 26 first-cousins, so you have 26 second-cousins. And then they have kids, so they're your third-cousins.
Me: 0.0
My resolve quickly faded. That doesn't mean I'm not going to try!
