First! Haha I love this! I always adore these two relationship. Like you said, not exactly close but not too distant either. They have that unique relationship that not everyone can understand. I think they love each other but a part of them still have this feeling of healthy rivalry between them. Anyway, nice one shot.

It takes two to tango.

I just love this part lol! So true. At the very least, I believe their feelings are mutual, however complicated the feelings and relationship is...

Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you love it! You're very welcome :)

I totally agree with you, since I think I don't understand their relationship either. I could only see the snippets from what they did show and thought that Yuto's many mentions that Yama-chan is his wife fit quite well with this.

And it's not like Yama-chan vehemently denies it either. He put himself as the role of mother to Yuto's father in one of the magazine's article for HS7-family. So they're in it together at the very least. Not to mention that he's more receptive to Yuto's fanservice / pda than others'.

Sorry for the long response. It's just that they're still my favourite pairing despite all that has happened.

If I have to say myself, it's not that I totally dont get it LOL. I have a relationship exactly like this--a friend aka rival as well. We fought a lot in the past, we even had a period that we didnt talk to each other at all. But somehow we managed to accept our differences. Even today, among our circle of friends, I couldnt say she's my best friend (my best friend is someone else). But she is a valuable comrade. I seek advice from her the most, even if I might not agree with all of her words, but she gave me a different perspective and widen my view. She knows how to push my buttons and make me motivated. A friend and a rival indeed. (I cant really say I'm worthy of her rival though, she's much better than me) But all in all, I somehow can symphatize with YutoYama relationship even if I say I dont understand it either ( ... )

Thank you for sharing your story with me. It gives me new insights on relationships that just can't be limited to one title. So, again, thank you :)

I used "despite" because some time ago I read a comment somewhere that state something like, "The real JUMP fans know that Okayama is the real one. Yamajima is dead." Or along that line. Which makes me strangely indignant. I think each relationship is unique, so it's just absurd to claim that the bond is no longer there.

No worries, I'm not that big of intra-JUMP-romance shipper too. Watching their interactions in mainly Itajump just make it hard to see them in any other relationship other than platonic. I love their bromance too much to write any other genre too lol. Lately I found that I tend to write according to what I observed in their interaction too. Or at least expand on it, instead of making it conpletely fan created scenarios.

It's fine! I enjoy reading what people thought about many things :)

I'm not exactly fond of the term 'real' JUMP fan. I never really fond of categorising people whether they are real or not. They love JUMP. That in itself, is already real, even if they're new or old, or however the way they wanna fangirl them. As long as they dont overstep the boundary of the idol's private space, I believe they're all real. (This applies to other fandom as well)

Similarly, no one has the right to judge Okayama or Yamajima other than they themselves I believe. I also agree that all relationships are unique. If Yamajima is dead, then HSJ is over. I've been in NEWS and KAT-TUN fandom, so yeah, I know they'll be over. If you know what I mean LOL.

And IKR~ I love their bromance too much that it's hard to think of them other than platonic. I think HSJ is the first JE group that I can totally feel the platonic bromance ambience among them and that's what makes them unique.
