my english professor asked me after a class discussion to join the honors college; I said I probably couldnt.
so he waived the gpa requirement and signed my recommendation. sup honors college.
my new classes go like this:
-First year German
-Honors Philosophy - Metaphysics
-Honors English - Classic Epics
-a 300 level English class, Texts and Theory
-Reading films - a study of film using literary critical techniques and interpretation methods.
Amazing.
(except the $350 in books I just dropped. but look what they are!
-The Aeneid
-The Odyssey
-Beowulf
-Roland
-The Agricola and the Germania
-Bede's Ecclesiastical History of the English People
-Hegel's text and commentary
-Kant's Prolegomena to Any Future Metaphysics
-Descartes' Discourse on Method
among some standard issue textbooks)
