SquareEnix owes me 1.6 hours of my life back.
Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children is, simply put, one of the worst movies I have seen since Wonderful Days.
It's basically SquareEnix playing with the FF7 characters with one of the most lacking plots I have ever seen. It didn't help that the much of the first half was a cellphone commercial (unfortunately, I'm not joking).
I can't even say much for the graphics. Yes, some of it was impressive but the children moved like puppets.
I never did complete FF7 so I may have been missing some 'emotional impact' but really, no, I did not watch this to be bludgeoned over the head with Aerith.
And motorbike combat is really, really, silly.
