I've been wanting to do this for a long time and I think I put it off for too long. I just want to know why you guys friend me. Is that really too much to ask? I'm really tired of random adds. Before I used to add people to my friends list when I received friends requests because I always welcomed new friends but I don't like adding people and then ( ... )

I'll never understand such people. They are damn annoying >_> I know that problem too good. Many people asked me for an add and I was always happy to find some new people. But I realized after months, that the most of them never made a comment in my LJ. So, what the fuck? Why do you friend me? Is it like a competition, who has the most friends? That's childish and it sucks. I decided to make a new friends-cut and no one adding back at the next time.

Yes it's really annoying. I had this happen to me in many different sites and I had hope that it wouldn't happen here but it's already started to happen. I hate the thought of me being really strict when it comes to adding friends but it seems like I have to be. People aren't giving me any other option and I write a lot of personal things here. I know I'm not very good as far as making comments to other people's journals and I feel bad for that and I hope that will change but these people never even made one comment when they were mutual. I looked at their journal they have nothing and I sent them pms and never got a reply from them. I guess it's no surprise that none of them replied back to this post yet they still have me on their list. I don't know what they want from me but I'm not adding them back. I'm through being nice to them.

Oh my goodness I ended up writing such a long reply. Gomen.

Don't say gomen, it's okay :)
When you have to say a lot, you can do it always! I love it to read long comments *laughs*
And everything you said, is sooo right. I'll never understand why people are adding others without saying one word oder reading entries/writing comments.

I just felt bad because I went on and on. I mean you didn't do anything wrong it was them that got me in this mood.

I don't know I think I'm not accepting anymore friends requests. Maybe if I spoke to them in comm. I may consider if they comment in my first post but no more noobs.
