Summary:Yuichi, Koki, Junno, Tatsuya and Jin are supposed to be the 8th generation rulers of the world called Mytan. Mytan had been dealing with their enemies, which are called Zygnotean for so many years but in order to defeat them they need to be strong enough. And In order to gain their full powers, all 7 heirs must be complete. Now that two Zygnoteans named Kazuya and Hikaru come to their life, would they be a big help in finding the missing heirs or will they be the reason of the heir’s failure.

Chapter 28
Everyone was still tired due to their amusement park trip yesterday but they were all still called for a training that day.
When Kazuya, Hikaru and Ryo arrived. They are surprised that only 5 of the heirs were there. Minami, Hajime and the other fighters are not there.
“We need to talk about something.” King Seiji said as they followed him inside the ruler’s room.
“We know that you were tired but we are actually giving you a special mission.” King Jirou said.
“We are actually considering what Kazuya told us.” King Tadashi started.
“Huh?” Everyone reacted
“About Minami and Hajime. We had assigned some fighters to look out for them every night after Kazuya voiced out his suspicion. There were nights that the two of them goes out secretly. One time that a fighter followed them, the fighter went back wounded but without any memory of what happened.” King Hitoshi explained.
“Is it possible to erase someone’s memory just like that?” Koki asked.
“Based on what we know, a mage could. Depending on what are the spells she’s mastering and depending on how powerful she is.” King Yusuke said.
“If it is Minami and Hajime, they might have done that so you would not be suspicious of them. They already know that you are asking the guards to follow them, and if the guard dies, the blame would only be theirs.” Tatsuya said.
“That is right. And now that they know that we are doubting them we want to send all the heirs together with Kazuya and Hikaru to spy those two for tonight.” King Jirou said
“I will do my best. I promise, I’ll prove to you that what I said wasn’t a lie.” Kazuya said determined.
That night, they assigned who are going to wait in Hajime and Minami’s window in case they went out there, who will wait for the main entrance and who will go around the forest to make sure there won’t be any Zygnotean around.
Kazuya and Ryo were the one assigned to the window, Jin, Yamapi and Tatsuya was waiting in the center of the forest where Minami and Hajime was spotted meeting a Zygnotean. Koki and Junno are in the Main entrance as Yuichi And Hikaru are in the east part of the forest.
“What if they won’t go out. This plan is going to be a waste then.” Ryo mumbled sadly.
“I just hope we could finally capture those two. As long they are inside the castle, the heirs and rulers are in danger.” Kazuya mumbled.
“But Queen Kimiko and King Ryuji are still hoping that they are the real ones.”
“I understand why. It has been 19 years, I know they are desperate to find the real Hajime and Minami.” Kazuya said as Ryo just agrees few minutes had passed and they didn’t expect to see Jin come near them.
“Why are you here?” Kazuya asked.
“I am getting a little impatient.” Jin said. “Ryo could we switch position, please?” Jin grinned.
“Switch position?” Kazuya asked.
“He’ll stay with Tatchan and Pi.”Jin simply said.
“Okay. Just don’t let your guard down.” Ryo immediately agrees to Kazuya’s dismay.
“Ryo!” Kazuya tried to call but the latter continued walking away.
“I am sorry about what happened last week.” Jin apologized, Kazuya just sat in one of the bench eyes on Hajime and Minami’s window. “You didn’t need to prove anything, you know.” Jin added.
“Huh? I am a Zygnotean, not everyone believes in me because of that.” Kazuya said.
“I am a heir, there are things I need to consider that is why I need to protect Minami and Hajime. I am sorry that I drew my sword and pointed it at you.”Jin looked at him. “But I believe in you, I always trusted you. You cared for us, the rulers and the whole Mytan.”
“Jin.” Kazuya mumbled still frowning.
“Hey. Don’t put up that kind of face. I am feeling guiltier.” Jin said. “I am not saying this for you to forgive me but it was the truth, Kazuya. I always believe in you.” Jin added.
“Sorry for that I distance myself from everyone. Sorry for not understanding the situation, they are believed to be the heirs so I should have understood you reaction.” Kazuya apologized as well.
“You should not apologize for that. “ Jin said as he ruffled Kauzya’s hair.
“Hey!” Kazuya shouted as he tries to remove Jin’s hands.
“You hair is getting longer. I like it. I think that length is perfect not too long but not too short.” Jin smiled as Kazuya blushed. And before Kazuya could reply they hear noise from Hajime and Minami’s balcony.
“Was that them?” Kazuya asked.
“It’s them. They went out from the window and jump from the balcony.” Jin said. “Let’s follow them.” Jin added as they trail them and made sure that they won’t be noticed.
“They were moving too fast.” Kazuya said as they lost sight of them.
“Tat-chan? They headed your way did you see them?” Jin asked through a communication device.
“Yes, they are just few meters away from us. It seems like they are waiting for someone.” Tatsuya answered.
“Okay. I’ll call Koki’s group then we will head there now.
When the heirs meet in the center of the forest, they couldn’t seem to find Hajime and Minami.
“I thought that they were here?” Jin asked.
“They were just here. I just remove my gaze for a second then they disappeared. I am sorry.” Tatsuya explained.
“Let’s just keep moving. They haven’t got far” Jin suggested.
They split again into three groups to make the task easier. All three groups went to different directions yet after a few minutes, all three groups met again. It happened twice.
“How did you guys get here again?” Jin asked Yamapi’s group. “Weren’t you supposed to be on the east side. And you too Tatsuya your group was supposed to be on the west.” Jin said.
“We do not know how we got here. “ Yamapi answered truthfully.
“Let’s just go in one direction.” Jin said.
“No, wait. Didn’t you notice.” Tatsuya frowned. “This is where we started. This is where they suddenly disappear then we divide our group into three to find them.” He explained.
“We were just going around and around.” Kazuya said.
“Minami’s powers is something we shouldn’t underestimate.” Hikaru mumbled.
“Well atleast it only took you a few minutes to realized that you are just going around and around the center of this forest.” It was Hajime’s voice. Hajime slowly appeared as well as some walls. All of them stared with surprised expression on their face , it seems like the forest is being erased . The forest suddenly turned into an old abandoned castle.
“Where the hell are we!” Jin shouted.
“They were able to take us to another place?” Yamapi asked.
“This is a really strong illusion.” Kazuya said. “I am not sure if I could still count it as an illusion when I know that this is real.” Kazuya said.
“I thought Minami is not strong enough to do this kind of illusion.” Hikaru said. No one from the heir could understand how amazing this illusion is since no one from them are a mage nor a mystic night but based on Kazuya and Hikaru’s reaction it is surely an illusion that is hard to break.
“This castle is real and Minami just brought us here. We are still in the forest but we are also in the castle.” Kazuya tried to explain but no one could really understand it.
“It is like we created a new dimension.” Hajime said as about 30 Zygnoteans appeared. “Those Zygnoteans are not in the forest but inside this old castle located in Zygnotea. It’s like putting two places in one.” Hajime smirked as the zygnotean started attacking the heirs.
“Minami is a phantom fighter.” Koki concluded. “If she was able to make this strong illusions it means she had a gem, right.” Koki said as he attacks the Zygnoteans that comes near him.
“Both of them knew how to act weak and innocent.” Yamapi commented.
“This Zygnoteans are weak but this illusion is really something amazing.” Ryo said as he attacks more zygnoteans with his element.
“But because she needs to use a lot of powers, she couldn’t face us so instead, it’s you.” Tatsuya said. And in no time they were able to take down all 30 Zygnoteans.
“Those are just few.” Ryo grinned.
“Well worse is just about to come. “ Hajime said still not moving from his spot.
“Could you just give up? That would make things easier for you.” Kazuya said.
“Kazuya don’t you remember me at all?” Hajime asked as Kazuya eyed him curiously. “When we were young Minami and I were just always the second best while you and Hikaru are always on the top. I hated you ever since we are young. Both of you are Kazeno and Lady M’s favorite. Just few years ago, Kazeno finally called us and told us that he got an important mission for us and that is when he erased our memory and changes our name to Minami and Hajime.”
“So what you told us was real?” Koki asked.
“Nah, it was lie. When Kazeno erased our memory, he left us in a village that they attacked in Mytan. We were just teenagers so they really did not suspect anything and thought that we were survivors. A family took us in yet a few months after that, our memories returned and a Zygnotean starts visiting us once in awhile to make sure that we are doing our job which is to be one of the Mytanean fighters, be a spy and pretend that we are the missing heirs.” Hajime told them the truth.
“He waited for years to see that plan failed?” Jin said.
“I don’t consider using us as a failure.” Hajime said. “Minami, I think I have bought you enough time.” Hajime said as few more Zygnoteans appeared.
“Do you really want to lose a lot of ZYgnotean fighters huh.” Koki smiled.
“Let’s see how will you handle our big surprise then. I’ll just watch everything from here.” Hajime said as he sat on a couch near him.
Yuichi and Hikaru had already felt that there is something weird, they couldn’t quite point out what it is until the ZYgnoteans starts attacking and Kazuya shouted loud.
“Kazuya?” Jin asked worriedly. He tried to come near him but the ZYgnoteans prevents him.
“This is not good.” Hikaru said. “Everyone, I’d advise you to step further away from Kazuya-nii for now.” Hikaru shouted.
“What ?why?” Koki who was nearest to Kazuya asked. Kazuya shouted in pain again so Koki could not help it but to guide him and run further from the ZYnoteans. And that is when he noticed that Kazuya’s eyes turns black.
“Yuichi, create a shield around Koki. Now!!!” Hikaru shouted as Yuichi responded immediately. Yuichi casted a spell that creates a shield around Koki, that sheild had prevented Kazuya from killing Koki. Kazuya had pulled out his sword and tried to stab Koki. When he wasn’t successful Kazuya just stood up attacking everyone he sees including the Zygnotean fighters.
“Kazuya! What is happening?” Tatsuya shouted. “Jinshin Kogeki” He casted to create an earthquake. It got harder for the Zygnotean to come near them.
“Hikaru, what is happening?” Koki asked Hikaru instead.
“He is being controlled by Minami. You need to kill him before you could come near us.” Hajime said.
“Could you do something?” Jin asked as he saw that he is now Kazuya’s target. He just keeps dodging Kazuya’s attacks.
“Maybe Yuichi and I could.” Hikaru answered.
“We’ll deal with the Zygnotean fighters. Do everything you could.” Tatsuya said as he, Koki and Junno advance forward to attack the ZYgnoteans. Jin, Kazuya, Hikaru and Yuichi stayed behind them.
“Jin, could you hold Kazuya for awhile until we purify whatever spell Minami used on him.” Hikaru asked.
“Hopefully.” Jin just replied as he tries not to hurt Kazuya.
“What should we do?” Yuichi asked
“Combine my and your powers to stop the spell.” Hikaru said. “Hold my staff. This place is made by a dark spell so please do everything you could. “Hikaru added as she closes her eyes trying to concentrate and locate where Minami is hiding. Yuichi did the same as Jin is doing his best to prevent Kazuya from hurting anyone. Few minutes passed and Jin was getting impatient
“Yuichi!! Hikaru how much time do you need!” Jin shouted and just time Yuichi and Hikaru had created another bright blue and purple light just like what happened in the mine.
“This will stop Kazuya but won’t completely destroy the whole castle illusion.”Yuichi explained as the light got brighter. Kazuya shouted in pain again, Jin got no choice but to pin him to ground since he start swaying his sword as he shout. Tatsuya grab the sword from Kazuya’s hands to stop him from hurting Jin.
When the light faded all the Zygnoteans are now unconscious in the ground, the castle illusion didn’t completely disappear but it weakens and Kazuya is now asleep in Jin’s arms.
“You! What did you do!” Hajime didn’t expect that Yuichi and Hikaru could stop it.
“Stopped your plan. You used Kazuya’s body to fight?” Yuichi glared.
“Are you that weak?” Jin shouted as he lie Kazuya down for awhile. “You are not being fair!” He added. It was obvious how angry Jin is now. But Koki and Junno stopped him from attacking Hajime.
“It is something you called strategy.” Hajime simply said.
“But your so called strategy didn’t work.” Yuichi said. “Kazuya, Hikaru and all the heirs are now protected by a barrier me and Hikaru created. You cannot control any of us now.” Yuichi explained as Hajime just glared at them then walked away.
They are about to follow him when another group of ZYgnoteans came.
“They aren’t getting tired, are they?” Jin said.
“Let’s finish this quickly.” Tatsuya said as they start attacking each Zygnotean that comes near them
As expected, they were able to defeat them immediately but as they were about to go upstairs to follow Hajime. Someone suddenly talked behind them.
“Not so fast.” They all look back just to find the still unconscious Kazuya in Hajime’s arms. A dagger is pointed around his neck. “Kazuya’s death, is already enough for me , you know.” Hajime smiled evilly.
Hikaru stares in the dagger, now that she have an ability to make things levitate, maybe she could control that dagger as well.
“Stop trying, Hikaru. If you could stop my spells, I could stop yours too.” Minami was found on the otherside of the castle.
“You!” Hikaru shouted as she was about to levitate fast to where Minami is to attack her but Minami castled a spell.
“Kyofu no Kogeki.” A strong wind hit Hikaru and threw her hard on the wall.
“Hikaru!” Yuichi shouted as he went near his girlfriend. Hikaru fell unconscious because of the impact.
“You can’t do anything anymore.” Hajime said. “Come near me and I’ll kill Kazuya immediately. But even if you don’t ,I’ll kill him anyway.” He smirked and lie Kazuya in the ground.
“Hikaru is the only one who could teleport. If only we could get near him immediately.” Tatsuya said. They can’t even casts a spell since they were too far from them, Hajime might already stab Kazuya before a spell reach him.
“If we move he will kill Kazuya, if we don’t he’ll still kill Kazuya. What should we do.” Junno said.
“We’ll just say goodbye to him now.” Hajime said as he raised the dagger and aimed for Kazuya’s chest.
Everything just happened too fast. Everyone saw a lot of blood.

“Kazeno, It was reported that Eriko and Takao was killed by the heirs.” It was a female’s voice. She is quite old probably early 40s but still very pretty.
“Who?” A male voice asked. He was looking out of his window admiring the view outside.
“Hajime and Minami.” The female sighed. Eriko and Takao are their real names.
“Lady M, I do not care about that. They died because they are weak. “
“Kazeno! They were loyal to you. Atleast get mad because the heirs killed them.” Lady M shouted.
sorry that I need to end it like that....
my updates are getting slower.... because its really near the ending yet i am not yet done writing the last 3 chapters.... this is 28 and this will probably end very soon....xD
well we will hear a little about lady M and Kazeno in the next chapter....:D

“Let’s see how will you handle our big surprise then. I’ll just watch everything from here.” Hajime said as he sat on a couch near him.
Yuichi and Hikaru had already felt that there is something weird, they couldn’t quite point out what it is until the ZYgnoteans starts attacking and Kazuya shouted loud.
“Kazuya?” Jin asked worriedly. He tried to come near him but the ZYgnoteans prevents him.
“This is not good.” Hikaru said. “Everyone, I’d advise you to step further away from Kazuya-nii for now.” Hikaru shouted.
“What ?why?” Koki who was nearest to Kazuya asked. Kazuya shouted in pain again so Koki could not help it but to guide him and run further from the ZYnoteans. And that is when he noticed that Kazuya’s eyes turns black.
“Yuichi, create a shield around Koki. Now!!!” Hikaru shouted as Yuichi responded immediately. Yuichi casted a spell that creates a shield around Koki, that sheild had prevented Kazuya from killing Koki. Kazuya had pulled out his sword and tried to stab Koki. When he wasn’t successful Kazuya just stood up attacking everyone he sees including the Zygnotean fighters.
“Kazuya! What is happening?” Tatsuya shouted. “Jinshin Kogeki” He casted to create an earthquake. It got harder for the Zygnotean to come near them.
“Hikaru, what is happening?” Koki asked Hikaru instead.
“He is being controlled by Minami. You need to kill him before you could come near us.” Hajime said.
“Could you do something?” Jin asked as he saw that he is now Kazuya’s target. He just keeps dodging Kazuya’s attacks.
“Maybe Yuichi and I could.” Hikaru answered.
“We’ll deal with the Zygnotean fighters. Do everything you could.” Tatsuya said as he, Koki and Junno advance forward to attack the ZYgnoteans. Jin, Kazuya, Hikaru and Yuichi stayed behind them.
“Jin, could you hold Kazuya for awhile until we purify whatever spell Minami used on him.” Hikaru asked.
“Hopefully.” Jin just replied as he tries not to hurt Kazuya.
“What should we do?” Yuichi asked
“Combine my and your powers to stop the spell.” Hikaru said. “Hold my staff. This place is made by a dark spell so please do everything you could. “Hikaru added as she closes her eyes trying to concentrate and locate where Minami is hiding. Yuichi did the same as Jin is doing his best to prevent Kazuya from hurting anyone. Few minutes passed and Jin was getting impatient
“Yuichi!! Hikaru how much time do you need!” Jin shouted and just time Yuichi and Hikaru had created another bright blue and purple light just like what happened in the mine.
“This will stop Kazuya but won’t completely destroy the whole castle illusion.”Yuichi explained as the light got brighter. Kazuya shouted in pain again, Jin got no choice but to pin him to ground since he start swaying his sword as he shout. Tatsuya grab the sword from Kazuya’s hands to stop him from hurting Jin.
When the light faded all the Zygnoteans are now unconscious in the ground, the castle illusion didn’t completely disappear but it weakens and Kazuya is now asleep in Jin’s arms.
“You! What did you do!” Hajime didn’t expect that Yuichi and Hikaru could stop it.
“Stopped your plan. You used Kazuya’s body to fight?” Yuichi glared.
“Are you that weak?” Jin shouted as he lie Kazuya down for awhile. “You are not being fair!” He added. It was obvious how angry Jin is now. But Koki and Junno stopped him from attacking Hajime.
“It is something you called strategy.” Hajime simply said.
“But your so called strategy didn’t work.” Yuichi said. “Kazuya, Hikaru and all the heirs are now protected by a barrier me and Hikaru created. You cannot control any of us now.” Yuichi explained as Hajime just glared at them then walked away.
They are about to follow him when another group of ZYgnoteans came.
“They aren’t getting tired, are they?” Jin said.
“Let’s finish this quickly.” Tatsuya said as they start attacking each Zygnotean that comes near them
As expected, they were able to defeat them immediately but as they were about to go upstairs to follow Hajime. Someone suddenly talked behind them.
“Not so fast.” They all look back just to find the still unconscious Kazuya in Hajime’s arms. A dagger is pointed around his neck. “Kazuya’s death, is already enough for me , you know.” Hajime smiled evilly.
Hikaru stares in the dagger, now that she have an ability to make things levitate, maybe she could control that dagger as well.
“Stop trying, Hikaru. If you could stop my spells, I could stop yours too.” Minami was found on the otherside of the castle.
“You!” Hikaru shouted as she was about to levitate fast to where Minami is to attack her but Minami castled a spell.
“Kyofu no Kogeki.” A strong wind hit Hikaru and threw her hard on the wall.
“Hikaru!” Yuichi shouted as he went near his girlfriend. Hikaru fell unconscious because of the impact.
“You can’t do anything anymore.” Hajime said. “Come near me and I’ll kill Kazuya immediately. But even if you don’t ,I’ll kill him anyway.” He smirked and lie Kazuya in the ground.
“Hikaru is the only one who could teleport. If only we could get near him immediately.” Tatsuya said. They can’t even casts a spell since they were too far from them, Hajime might already stab Kazuya before a spell reach him.
“If we move he will kill Kazuya, if we don’t he’ll still kill Kazuya. What should we do.” Junno said.
“We’ll just say goodbye to him now.” Hajime said as he raised the dagger and aimed for Kazuya’s chest.
Everything just happened too fast. Everyone saw a lot of blood.

Meanwhile in another castle, a castle that is surrounded by darkness, the news about about Hajime and Minami’s death arrived.
“Kazeno, It was reported that Eriko and Takao was killed by the heirs.” It was a female’s voice. She is quite old probably early 40s but still very pretty.
“Who?” A male voice asked. He was looking out of his window admiring the view outside.
“Hajime and Minami.” The female sighed. Eriko and Takao are their real names.
“Lady M, I do not care about that. They died because they are weak. “
“Kazeno! They were loyal to you. Atleast get mad because the heirs killed them.” Lady M shouted.
sorry that I need to end it like that....
my updates are getting slower.... because its really near the ending yet i am not yet done writing the last 3 chapters.... this is 28 and this will probably end very soon....xD
well we will hear a little about lady M and Kazeno in the next chapter....:D
