Summary:Yuichi, Koki, Junno, Tatsuya and Jin are supposed to be the 8th generation rulers of the world called Mytan. Mytan had been dealing with their enemies, which are called Zygnotean for so many years but in order to defeat them they need to be strong enough. And In order to gain their full powers, all 7 heirs must be complete. Now that two Zygnoteans named Kazuya and Hikaru come to their life, would they be a big help in finding the missing heirs or will they be the reason of the heir’s failure.

Chapter 9
Kazuya is in panic, Hikaru had not called him and he has no idea where she is. Hikaru never leaves the school without him. He is not yet familiar with earth so he needed help in finding her.
“Jin, You are the last person I want to asked for help but you are the only one in my contacts that could really help me” Kazuya said. He is worried, Hikaru just disappeared after their class and she didn’t even informed Kazuya where she will go. He waited for her for 3 hours yet she isn’t home yet so he decided to call Jin to ask for his help.
“So, I am the one who should thank you for asking me to help you? If you are going to ask for help atleast be nice” Jin shouted.
“Sorry. But you see, Hikaru is missing. She never goes out without me. I tried to wait for her for 3 hours thinking that maybe she got some important things to do but she’s not home until now” Kazuya said, Jin can hear worry in his voice.
“Ok. I am currently at home, You could come by” Jin said.
“I’ll be there in 5 minutes.” Kazuya said and immediately went to Jin’s house. Kazuya thought that Jin was asking him to pick him up and look for Hikaru together but Jin just actually wants Kazuya to come by to his place since he knew that there is something bothering the younger.
After 15 minutes Jin heard his door bell rang and as expected , it is Kazuya.
“Hikaru is not answering her phone. I am worried” Kazuya said immediately as Jin sighed.
“Could just use your illusions to find him? Use akira to find her scent or something?” Jin said.
“Illusions are use to deceive an enemy not to find a missing person and Akira doesn’t have that kind of ability but Okaze have that kind of ability, right? Help me?” Kazuya smiled.
“She’s with Yuichi. You do not have to worry that much.” Jin sighed.
“What!!With Yuichi?”Kazuya shouted.
“Hai!” Jin simply said.
“ You should have told me that on the phone, I didn’t need to come here” Kazuya shouted.
“You are alone, right? That is why I asked you to come. This isn’t the time for you to be alone.” Jin said as he forced Kazuya to go in.
“I am the one taking care of Hikaru so I could surely take care of myself as well” Kazuya as tries to go back outside.
“That is not what I mean. Since we came back here, you have been so down. Something is bothering you, Kazuya” Jin said as Kazuya stopped.
“I’m perfectly fine.” Kazuya denied.
“It is ok if you do not want to talk about it but atleast stay until dinner. I’ll call Yuichi so you could at least talk to Hikaru” Jin offered.
“Nah, It’s fine. I do not want to disturb them” Kazuya said and finally sat on Jin’s couch.
“Ok.” Jin just replied. “Can I offer you anything? Coffee? Juice?” Jin asked.
“No. It’s alright” Kazuya said as Jin sat beside him.
“Kazuya, You are being so uneasy. This isn’t so not like you at all” Jin commented. “Will you tell your problem?” Jin asked.
“I can’t really tell you the whole thing but, you see, Hikaru and I was used to having no one but us to trust and to rely on. It had always been the two of us. My family…“Kazuya stopped so Jin decided to talk.
“Your family? You had told me before that you left them 5 years ago. But you never told me why and how did you met Hikaru” Jin said.
“I actually do not remember so much about my childhood but what I remember is that my parents had always treated me differently. I have two brothers, they love them, but not me. I do not know why but in class I’m always one of the top students while my brother aren’t yet they are still more proud of my brothers than me. I always felt alone, I had friends but it feels like that they are only being close to me since I am one of the best in class. I really feel lonely until Hikaru came. “ Kazuya said.
Flashback
It was just another day for Kazuya, another day of going to school then going back home, being treated badly by his parents and brothers, and doing the house chores. It has always been like that until a lady knock on their door. The lady’s face was almost covered so he didn’t even recognize her. The lady is with a little girl who seems younger than him. The little girl was crying.
“Is your parents at home?” The lady asked.
“Yes!” Kazuya answred. “Mama! Papa!” He called and his parents run immediately to him.
“Let’s talk outside!” The lady told his parents then they all went out. Kazuya didn’t know what they talked about but when his parents returned they already have the little girl with them.
“Take care of her, Kazuya. She doesn’t remember anything but her name is Yamasaki Hikaru. She will be coming with you tomorrow, that lady arranges everything for her school, she’s at the same level as you” His parents just told him and left Hikaru with him.
“Hikaru-chan. Don’t cry please.” Kazuya said as he wipe the tears from the child’s face yet the child just continue crying.
“Everything will be alright. You are with us now”
“I…I feel afraid, I do not know anyone. I do not even know where I am” Hikaru said.
“I am Kazuya. I’ll be your big brother, Ok? You don’t have to be afraid because from now on, I’ll always be here with you” Kazuya smiled that gentle smiled had somehow affected Hikaru.
“Brother?” Hikaru asked.
“Un, I’ll be your brother. Even if you do not know anyone, I won’t leave you side. I’ll help you with everything. Is that ok? Would smile for me now” Kazuya said as Hikaru finally stopped crying.
Hikaru and Kazuya became closer as years went by. They became best of friends and their world started to revolve around each other only. They can never be separated until the time come that they need to choose their class. Kazuya had always wanted to be a Swordsman while Hikaru wants to be a Mage. It became a problem to them since Hikaru doesn’t really want to stay away from Kazuya so Kazuya was forced to be a mage as well.
2 months after taking the class, Hikaru had seen how Kazuya was looking to the swordsmen that were practicing. Kazuya is really good in using swords, so she realized that maybe Kazuya is really meant to be a swordsman.
“Kazuya-nii, Maybe I could do this alone. “ Hikaru started, Kazuya was still engrossed in watching the swordsman trainees.
“Could do what?” kazuya asked.
“This class and being trained as a mage.” Hikaru answered. “Kazuya-nii, please do what you really want to do. I want you to be happy”
“But I am happy. I like this.”
“I saw you the other day. You were talking to those swordsman trainees and had a friendly duel with them. You were so great, you even defeated them. I want you to do something you really love. I am sorry for forcing you into this” Hikaru said as Kazuya looked down.
“I am actually loving this” Kazuya told her.
“What do you mean?” Hikaru asked.
“There are advantages in using magic spells, I learned a lot in just a few weeks yet. I am good in fighting using the sword, This is
something I really want since I was young so..” Hikaru talked before Kazuya could finish.
“You could leave. I promise I’ll be ok. “
“Thanks, Hikaru” Kazuya smiled.
“Maybe, you’ll like being a mystic knight more.” Hikaru said.
“Eh?”
“A Mystic Knight requires you to be a good in using swords as well as using magic spells and illusion. I think you’ll fit there more” Hikaru suggested. Kazuya thought about it and indeed he chose to be a Mystic Knight.
For Kazuya, it was a better choice. He is talented in handling swords and his fights became better everytime he uses illusions. Even though he and Hikaru are attending different class, they made sure to have lunch and go home together everyday.
End of Flashback
“When I start attending my class as a Mystic Knight trainee, Hikaru had somehow learned how to be independent yet both of us still doesn’t trust anyone but each other. Just a few months after that day, we decided to leave my parents house and live on our own. “ Kazuya said.
“Eh? Why did you leave you were still young by that time right?14?15?” Jin asked.
“I’m not sure as well. I think I was 15?” Kazuya answered unsure. “I never felt that I am part of the family, when Hikaru came, she receives the same treatment as how they treated me. She needs someone who will protect her and not someone who will look down on her. That’s why when I had the chance, when we started earning gold, we left the house.” Kazuya explained.
“You are always protecting her but who protects you?” Jin asked. “Kazuya, let us in inside your lives. Hikaru is doing that with Yuichi, she trusts him, she is trusting us. I feel that you do too yet you are controlling it. As they always said, we are the same in many ways, we both tend to hide our weakness, we do not want others to pity us but what makes the two of us different is that I never faced my problems alone, I maybe cold sometimes but I let a lot of people inside my life. You can talked to us about anything” Jin advice. He is still curious about Kazuya’s problem, he can see that it bothers Kazuya a lot.
“You do not understand Jin. I am different. “
“You seems really different, Kazu. I know I told you that I won’t force you to tell your problem to me but you are too lonely. The Kazuya I know was hard headed, he never let me win in any argument or even in practice battle. I want to see that Kazuya again” Jin said honestly.
“You just want a rival.” Kazuya frowned.
“No, I just want to see the strong Kazuya and not the one who is always out of focus.” Jin said Kazuya didn’t reply so Jin just hugged him. Kazuya was more than surprised when Jin did that yet he is really happy. “Fine, if you do not want to tell me what’s bothering you, it’s ok. But remember it is not just you and Hikaru anymore. You have us now” Jin added. Kazuya can’t already control it, some tears had fallen from his eyes.
“Damn, I never thought you could be sweet and gentle.” Kazuya said.
“And this is also my first time to see you cry. Didn’t know you’re a crybaby” Jin teased as Kazuya playfully hit his chest.
“You are my rival, I should never show my weakness to you?” Kazuya smiled and let go of the hug. Jin wipes his tears for him.
“Nah. This just means that you are letting me in already.” Jin smiled. Indeed Kazuya is letting him in. Actually Kazuya trusts them all so much now that it scares him. Sooner or later he will just lose them.

Kazuya had helped Jin cooked their dinner, after that he unexpectedly fallen as sleep in the couch so Jin had to carry Kazuya in his room. Jin called Yuichi to asked if HIkaru is already at home.
“Yo?” Jin greeted. “Is Hikaru at home already?” He asked.
“Yup, I took her home just a few minutes ago” Yuichi said.
“Kazuya is here, he had fallen asleep so he might not go home tonight. Can you inform Hikaru about it?”Jin said.
“He is there with you? Seriously? And why is he sleeping? What did you do?” Yuichi asked a little surprised.
“Well, it is your fault for not informing him about your date. He went here asking for help in finding Hikaru, he thought she is missing” Jin explained.
“Oh, well then, sorry about that” Yuichi apologized.
“It is fine for me, at least both of us had a great day” Jin laughed. “But inform Hikaru immediately, don’t make her worry.”
“Okay, I’ll call her now. Bye” Yuichi said then hang up.
After calling Yuichi, Jin prepared to go to bed. He doesn’t want to sleep in the couch and there is no other bed in the house than his and his father’s. It rare for Jin’s father to visit but he is never allowed inside his father’s room. Jin just lay beside Kazuya and watch Kazuya while he was sleeping. Kazuya is indeed too cute to be a guy and his skin is smoother than other girl’s skin.
“Why am I so happy whenever I am with you?” Jin whispered while removing some hair strands that are covering Kazuya’s face.
Jin had fallen asleep from watching Kazuya’s sleeping face and that is what Kazuya saw the next morning. Jin is facing him, their faces are just a few inches from each other. Since he was surprised, Kazuya suddenly sat up and looked for the clock, it was just 5 am. It still dark outside, he wanted to wake Jin up just to say goodbye and go home but the older is deeply sleeping, he doesn’t want to disturb him anymore.
“Maybe just for tonight, it is ok.” Kazuya mumbled as he returned to his position and moved closer to Jin’s chest.
