Let's see... To start with, there are the travel times! It takes three days to get to the next town over, and a week to get to the one after that... Though those might take a day or so longer, due to the bad weather...

Don't mention it! That's the big question a lot of people ask when they first arrive regarding the world itself, as it's one of the few they don't cover in the book.
