I love the internet 3 hours ago I had never heard of Eivør Pálsdóttir I now own one of her albums.... a fucking awesome album... Tradition Nordic/Faroese song styling, with a Big Band Orchestra and Jazz elements. No Seriously. One song Nú brennur tú í mær on this album sounds like Modern old Norse Big Band, but when Preformed live in Iceland it was just her a guitar and a guy playing a Udu Drum. (a Udu Drum is a Clay water jug with a second opening and is played with your finger tips and palms using the holes to create a nifty pong sound)
