I hope I don't commit any horrible fandom faux pas, but I'm tired of lurking, so here's my entry!
I'm writing a fic, which I haven't done in years. It kinda feels good. I will be looking for a beta, so anyone interested, would be awesome. I'm going to try to keep time involvement with fandom to a certain minimum, because there are so many things I should be working on that are NOT fandom, but, I'm allowed to have some fun, right?
I haven't watched SPN, so I'll be staying out of that part of fandom for a while. I'm not ready for the brothercest. Maybe one day. No judgment on those that do, though. I'm pretty ignorant about the real life of Jared and Jensen, and I certainly haven't been following the news about them, or what's happening in their personal lives. I still have read a fair bit of fic, and obliquely lurked in this area of fannishness for years, so I have a basic idea. Still, AUs is where it's at.
I guess that should be it! If you find me friending you, please don't be alarmed. I'm just trying to get my nose back into something that I used to have a lot of fun with, before my life went in a different direction. I have this fic in my brain now and it wants out, and I figure I'll be doing myself a favour by letting it. And who knows, someone else might enjoy it too! That's at least the plan.
