um. Hello. Does this thing still work? I feel like I need to dust the rust off or something...
... anyway! I am still alive. Haven't had much to post about. This hiatus is way longer than I somehow anticipated - each Friday I think it's time for a new ep, before realizing that we STILL have two weeks until we get a new ep. Boo, I say. So, nothing for me to react to.
School has been keeping me massively busy lately, so much that I haven't really been writing. Non-school writing, that is. I have bits and pieces of various fic ideas in various states of completion (or starting, I should say - nothing near completion) but I'm still getting lots of ideas and many things I want to write... there is one fic that I might be able to pound out soonish. I think I'd like that, rather than letting my fiction-writing muscles completely deteriorate.
A few days ago I was complaining about one of my students on twitter, and was about to say that her paper was way too short, but I actually wrote that her fic was way too short. So... I guess fandom is still definitely on my mind? :D
I did sign up for silverbullets ! Am really excited! A major deadline has passed for me so now it should be fine if I get tagged - I'll be able to postpone most of my other duties for a day or so. Bring on the schmoop! Other than that I'm not signed up for any challenges now. I like that. The challenges I did last year made sure I did some writing... but I need to focus on school now. I haven't even been reading a lot of fic lately. What's happening?! I have, however, been watching more early season Gilmore Girls. Oh bb!Jared, you make my happy. *sigh*
It's raining buckets today. I think I'll get out my umbrella and go for a walk to get myself a good coffee. Mmmm coffee. And then it's time to grade some essays, and hope I won't cry too much.
