That's pretty sweet if you're town is conservative or republican. But it's just plain dumb when Oak Park does it, because we all know that we all hate bush anyway. And it isn't changing anyone's opinions holding up signs. Sorry, don't mean to poop on your parade, but I don't think that protesting is going to do as much good as some other things.
That comment made me think of the Phantom Tollbooth, and I'm not even sure why. It just seems like something Norton Juster would say... gah that book is so good.
Our town is fairly liberal, overall. However, it started getting kids at school to talk about these issues, and I think it can only spread, meaning that if we work hard enough, it could enter some not-so-liberal areas. This kind of stuff is all about working towards more, it seems.
