Ode to a Beth....
And so arrives Beth's final week in Scotland. Now it's time for her to go back to Tennessee (i think, if i've spelt it right) and it's very sad. Less sad for Beth I realise, seeing as she misses her parents and friends and I know I wouldnt be able to cope if i were in the same position. So here's to Beth and her stay in Scotland. We'll miss her soooooooo much and I pity whoever gets her room next semester, they have a LOT of work to do! So lets remember a few classic moments...
1)My introduction to her, believing she was Swedish "Halllooooo! I... am... Lynsey"
2) The finding of the c'pn of Morgans in a vague and hidden little booze-shop
3) Our late night computer lab sessions, essays, hot chocolate that goes cold and Beths constant attempts to get my off ebay and on to a road to recovery
4) My cat hates you.com
5) The introduction of 'why Ron weasly is cute' conversations into my life
6) The usage of red hair dye... on foreheads but not roots for some bizarre reason
7)Someone to finally tell me what all the American references on family guy mean
8) on the same note 'Whaaaaaaat?'
9) Why twins can wear hats
10) St Andrews, finding Princes, the road trips that never were, but then were... ok
11) The drama festival... im sure you'll never think of badgers or pope dispensers in the same way again
12) Pumpkin pie... why have i never tried it before?
13) Candy corn, moon pies and those peeps thing, yay!
14) Eye make-up, no-one elses will ever come close!
I'll stop it there on my lucky number, because i'd go on forever remembering stuff. But i hope you enjoyed yourself Beth, we really will miss you. You've been a fabulous flatmate.
