Still Lurking...
I'm still alive, just busy...and just hiding away from the world.
--I bought a new built-from scratch laptop a few months ago, which I adore and is more advanced than my dad's laptop which is about 5 years or so old and had Windows 8--mine has windows 7, and runs better than his did new.
--I've been trying to keep up with work, which now has me doing work from home AND shipping preparations, the latter at least once a month. I'm possibly making bracelets for the site (http://www.5thavenuepets.com/store/index.php) but I have yet to receive the supplies, so...
--A close friend of mine has gone through a divorce and I'm trying to learn how to make certain things, both in the kitchen and on the sewing machine...which I need Mom's help with but she's pretty busy so I'm doing my best.
--Two girl friends of mine are getting married in October, so I'm busy working in their wedding gifts. One of these friends also had a birthday earlier this month and I'm working on her belated present.
--My grandmother's in the hospital again, two of my paternal aunts are causing all sorts of dramatic shit.
--I'm no longer seeing my imcompetant counselor, thank GOD.
--I'm also working on the fine details of my novels, making plenty of notes so I can make sure everything works and thus able to tweak what needs to be, before I get to deep and have to rewrite everything.
--I'm making a Vriska scalemate for a guy friends, with her dicekind and other little details.
--THanks to Costco getting caught with their pants down for another allergy season, I'm trudging through a sinus infection and the resulting cough from the drainage.
So, that's a quick little update so people know I'm still alive.
