105 - Shortcomings
After much self-delibaration, I've decided that I'm not going to Fanime. There's really nothing exciting going on during Fanime, and I have nothing to look forward to over there. Not like anyone wants me there after the bitching that I did concerning how masquerade was POORLY judged. Which resulted into this huge dramallama-fest because people outside of my friends list couldn't keep their mouths shut and had to get involved and the judges were all butthurt because I said something that hit their funny bone or something.
I've decided that I should wait the month and a half/two months and go to AX instead even though I said I wouldn't ever go back there. Why? There are multiple reasons:
1. See sorcererhuntres, tazeredtiger, voltei, schunoko, amongst other people.
2. The gatherings are much more organized.
3. They have Para Para there. :D
4. Going as an attendee instead of a staffer, I get to do more things there.
So Dante and Cassie, I'm really sorry about this. You don't have to bring your Yuna costume anymore, and Dante doesn't have to be Brother.
Aside from all that, I'm not even ready for AX yet. I have 3 more costumes I need to work on, anyway. And if I start working on them, I'll have it done by then. As much as I hate So Cal, I'd rather go to AX and see people who've kept me sane for the past 6 months+.
In short, no Fanime for me. To be honest, it's gotten less exciting for me in the past 3 years, anyway.
So yeah, you So Cal people? I am going to make every attempt to go to AX. I will have approximately 6 costumes with me (YES I AM INSANE).
