(no subject)
Due to a string of holidays my internship for internal medicine just ended yesterday.
(- 30 april here is the 'queen's birthday and counts as a national holiday
-and today is due to religious reasons I no longer remember.
- And tomorrow the university has a day off because....because they felt like it? XD Just fine by me)
Officially I could have called it quits on tuesday since I got my grade then, but I kind of took one too many days off before and had to do an evening shift at the emergency room yesterday. No drunken people fell under my care, I was a bit disappointed.
Just saw a bunch of folks having heart attacks and one lady who complained of pain (the cause of which both eluded me AND my supervising doc). After I finished with my thourough examination of this lady, she smiled at me and called me a smartass. *blinksblinks* And I thought I always come across as meek and gentle!!!! XD
On a less pleasant note, some other lady, a couple days back, complained that I had a communication problem. This after I reassured her that she was not having a heart attack. Sheesh, you just can't please some people. I was rolling my eyes and my doc said that I should let such a stupid lady bother me.
