Haruka sighed to herself as she took another look at herself in a small mirror of the carousel. She was at least half her normal size though she was thankful the body she was replaced with belonged to someone decent. A cute little girl at that. She had to weakly chuckle to herself as she thought of the little one at home. Odango's cousin, was it?

The body was well fit too. Ninja girl is what that boy called her. Come to think of it, her outfit did remind her of a Japanese ninja. The symbol on the forehead. She must be part of some kind of clan. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back as she felt this energy coursing through her body. She didn't know how or why but she knew this girl was no ordinary girl. Probably very skillful at that.

Looking at the time on her phone, she stepped off and crossed her arms. It was about time she'd see herself approach her. She thought of how odd that would be when she hears her name being called out. Haruka weakly smiled to the figure waving happily at her. Never in a hundred years did she think she would be able to see herself behave like that but she supposed that couldn't be helped. It was a little girl in her body after all.

"Hey, you must be Rin."

"Yup, that's me." Rin knew that she was staring, but she'd have to deal with that if Haruka got offended, because this was simply too odd not to stare.
Haruka-in-her-body held herself different from what Rin thought she herself usually did, more straight-backed and - well, regal, if that was possible.

Haruka's body must look odd to her as well, Rin was sure she wasn't doing the tall frame justice. Was this how Sensei felt when he trained them?

"So, eh. It's nice to meet you, even if the circumstances are a bit... odd."

She lightly laughed as she watched her own body seem more timid than she normally intended for it to be carried out. She was more reserved and frankly seemed like any school girl she usually saw at Juuban. It was more than just... odd but she tried to stay polite.

"I suppose 'odd' is the right word for it. Nice to meet you too. I've heard from a certain someone that you're a ninja." A bit of irritation heard in her voice. Just being caught up in this mess was bad enough, mentioning him was even more annoying.

Rin was relieved that the person who currently occupied her body (exactly how that worked in purely physical and scientific terms she was still working out)seemed as nice in real life as she had been over the Network. She smiled at herself-Haruka. "I am, I'm a medical ninja. A Chuunin, that's a middle-rank ninja, of Konoha."

Could it be Obito that Haruka had talked to? Probably not, since he would have completely freaked out over something like this. In a way, she missed his concern, but when it came down to it, Rin had to admit that it was much easier to deal with this whole affair without her team-mate's involvement.

That left the other Konoha ninja, Hiyori, and...
Oh dear. Well, that would explain the irritation she could hear in her voice.

"Don't tell me you talked to Proto-Man?"

"Heh~ Impressive. And at such a young age too." Haruka complimented the girl. She wasn't all that familiar with what a medical ninja was but she could understand what kind of role she must have had at home. "Konoha. I've never heard of it before."

As soon as she mentioned his name she sighed and slightly frowned. Oh yeah, that's him all right. It sure was a weird name and the way he was wording it made it sound as if he wasn't human. "Yeah, that's him. He's
quite the character." She spoke sarcastically with an edge to it.

Rin blushed at the praise. She did take some pride in her skill, but she'd never pretentious about it. Kakashi-kun was the genius, not her. "Ah, well, there's a war going, so we're getting promoted early, sometimes," she rambled.
Getting compliments from Sensei were all right, Obito-kun too; it was a bit harder from Kakashi-kun, because of, well, obvious reasons, but she cherished those the most of all. Anyway, as a team, they were supportive to each other; that was natural. Getting complimented by a stranger (and a stranger wearing her body), that made her self-conscious.

Rin quickly and gratefully dove for the change of subject that was her home village. "Konoha's one of the Hidden Villages, the shinobi villages;" she explained, and smiled apologetically. "We come from different worlds, so you wouldn't know it, of course." It wasn't exactly polite, but Rin tried to avoid looking at Haruka-herself as much as she could, lest she should forget what she was talking about and simply stand and stare.
"So, eh, what's your world like?"

The affirmation that it was indeed Proto-man whom Haruka had spoken to sent a jolt of panic through Rin. "Oh, I hope he wasn't rude to you, Haruka-san!" she said earnestly. "He's... Well, he thinks he's a bad guy, and he's always trying to prove it, but Obito-kun and I are trying to make him behave a bit better," she finished.

Rude was one way to put it but Haruka expected it in a world like this. A boy who thinks he's a bad guy. Wonderful. That explains the attempt at being bad ass, she supposed. "It's amazing why you even bother. People left and right playing hero and villain." The senshi made a remark with a disgusted sigh to follow. Weren't there more important things to be done? It wasn't a bad thing to care for others but bothering with a delusional boy instead of working for the greater good was simply a waste of time in Haruka's book.

Different worlds. She quietly mused to just what kind of world the others had come from. Surely, she's heard stories from those on the net and despite the similarities that they may hold from hers, a world where a little girl such as Rin was involved in a war was just saddening.

"Ah, yeah, you asked about my world, right? It's similar to this one expect without the curses and the monsters." She was about to disregard adding monsters to that list but that sort of information didn't need to be shared even if she wasn't from her world. Haruka figured a little white lie wouldn't hurt. Even the general public of her world weren't aware of the daimons that appear sporadically because of the Death Busters. She had to stay away from that subject to protect her identity as well. It was just funny how she was trying to hide this fact while staring directly at her usual self. As if she was trying to protect herself from getting involved with this senshi business again. How ironic.

Haruka's opinion threw Rin for a second. She'd never considered Proto as playing the bad guy, as little as she'd considered Obito, and herself she supposed, playing the heroes. Proto thought he was a bad guy, but he wasn't, really; he was just mistaken, or trying to prove something, like boys got it into their heads to do sometimes.
Obito didn't play a hero. Obito was one.

How to put this to Haruka, who was obviously used to bigger problems?
"I guess with Proto-man, we're convinced that he can be turned good, so, that's kind of a mission for us here. Trying to do a bit of good. It's not a matter of playing anything... It's just something we have got to do because we can, and there isn't anybody else to do it."

"So your world has this kind of technology, too? Really advanced computers, so many shops and clothes?" Rin was especially curious about the vast amount of goods the City offered. She appreciated nice clothes, though she often had to go for practical instead. But the City's selection seemed highly excessive.

"Where I come from is more like a village. Just a few businesses, of course some of them are closed now. And we don't have curses in my world either, although I've heard of monsters. I've never seen one, though."

She didn't particularly want to tell Haruka that many businesses closed because their civilian owners had either fled the war or died in it. But she wasn't trying to keep anything from the other, either.

Haruka simply kept quiet about Proto-man. It wasn't her business and the more she thought about it, the more she thought of her. Tsukino Usagi, the girl who seemed to throw herself into every situation she could think of to save someone even the enemy at times. She just hoped that he hadn't done anything to catch the police force's attention or they'd have no choice but to detain him no matter how 'good' he can be turned into. She decided to just stick with the subject about their homeland.

From how Rin was describing it, the senshi assumed that it must be similar to the rural areas in Japan. The small peaceful villages in the outskirts. "I suppose you could say that. Even some of the technology here is advanced for us." Haruka looked down at her hand. Such small hands but from how they looked she could tell Rin was a hard worker. "A ninja, huh. Does that mean you could walk on water and such?"

Rin saw her own face frown slightly, as if reminiscing on a not particularly pleasant subject.
She'd never considered how young it made her look.

Resolving to frown less in the future, she, too, eagerly pursued the safe topic of conversation. "We're hardly technologically advanced; of course we have our jutsu to help us out in that department. And yes, I can walk on water; it's not one of the first things we learn, but once you make Chuunin, you've got it down." She considered what else Haruka could be interested in. "We can also run up walls, and trees, just like running down a path. And I'm a medic, which means I'm trained to heal people using my chakra, which is my mental and physical energy."

That was enough about herself, Rin decided. "What do you do in your home world, Haruka-san?"

She slightly raised her eyebrows to hear her say that they could do the stereotypical things that a ninja was defined to do. That was interesting. The talk of jutsu and chakra. She couldn't be too too surprised seeing as she was capable of manipulating the wind and earth herself. But from what the girl was saying, it was clear that that was the norm in her world. It sounded like anyone is able to learn the necessary skills to become a ninja. Not anyone could what she was meant to do; Become a senshi, though she couldn't imagine why one would ever want to to begin with. She knows she had no desire to until she met her.

Haruka gave a small smile as she just revealed her current occupation. "Oh me? I'm just a high school student though I do have a reputation as a circuit racer." She closed her eyes with a content smile and imagined herself racing on a course as she continued. "The wind that blows across a circuit carries a wonderful scent-" She abruptly paused and snickered to herself as she recalls saying the same thing to two curious girls in the past. It was a shame that there were no such thing here. The only thing that she had been able to get her hands on was a vehicle at the station, having the permission to drive it once in a while. She'd look into it more as soon as she finds time, she thought.

Rin listened with interest at the other's description. "I'm not at all sure what a circuit is, but since you race it, I'm guessing it has to do with cars?"

She'd heard of cars; or at least she thought they might have them back home in the Fire Country. Some of the wealthiest Daimyos supposedly owned them, but she'd never seen one before she came to the City.

"You like it when things go fast?" she asked Haruka with a smile. That was pretty much the extent of her knowledge about cars, really.

"She likes to feel like the wind," Michiru's melodic voice cut into the conversation smoothly, announcing her presence as she approached. She looked at the pair and smiled, an amused twinkle in her eye as she took in the differences of body posture and expression in Haruka's form. It was certainly an interesting change.

She turned to Haruka-in-Rins-body and was amused further by the confident and stately manner the girl's body was held in, the pose and mannerisms so familiar, and so strange looking on this body.

There was the slightest hint of a chuckle in her voice as she brushed back the girl's bangs to get a better look at the form Haruka was stuck wearing for today "As you said, she's cute."

She turns and looks back at Haruka's body, presumably occupied by the girl in question, and for a moment, Michiru was struck by how odd it was to introduce herself to the figure of someone she was so very close to "A pleasure to meet you, I'm Kaioh Michiru."

Haruka's eyes perked as she saw Michiru and then placed her usual devious yet charmful smile across her lips though in this body it must have looked like a scheming child more than anything. She gazed back into her partner's eyes and lightly chuckles. "I told you."

The wind senshi gazed up and noticed on Michiru's face of how strange it much have been for her. To the public eye, they must have looked like mother and daughter more than... They had to figure out a way to switch back somehow.

Rin turned Haruka's head sharply with a gasp - she hadn't heard the other approach at all - and took in the newcomer. The other was tall and graceful, and she spoke calmly, seemingly not fazed by the fact that her friend was in another body. Rin supposed they were friends, at least, since it seemed they'd spoken before and seemed relaxed around each other.

"Oh- okay," she stammered. "Er, thank you." She still wasn't sure if she liked being called "cute" by strangers or not. "Nice to meet you too. My name's Rin, and, well, that's my body over there." She couldn't suppress a giggle over the weirdness of this whole situation.

Michiru chuckled softly at both the girl's rather adorable demeanor and the sight of Haruka's form stammering and giggling. It was certainly an interesting sight.

"Haruka's told me a little of what's happened" She explained before regarding the both of them "Have you discovered anything more since meeting up here?"
