[there was in Michiru's heart a certain sense of knowing as far as this day was concerned. She remembered the city so clearly, and remembered the curses moreso. There was a very vague knowledge she was aware of. That there was a curse today, here, of what kind of curse it was... and that she was part of it this time. If one were to press her on it, she might tell them that it had very little to do with any extraordinary powers, and moreso that such knowledge (no more, and no less than the little she needed to know) must perhaps be permitted to those arriving to the city during curses like these.]

[However, as it was, she cared very little for the blessing of such knowledge except in the fact that it reminded her of how little time she might have with this Haruka.]

Mm...

[she continued to gaze into those stormy eyes as she allowed herself to be guided closer to her lover, her hands now playing softly with the hair at the nape of Haruka's neck as her voice breathed against her partner's lips]

Are you looking for an invitation?

[She smiled softly, and her eyes were gently teasing and softly serious at once]

The future is very uncertain here. We should make the most of our time together...ne?

I think you already know my answer...

[That was enough to draw her in. Haruka gave in as she lightly brushed her fingers across Michiru's lips before softly placing a kiss. Her other hand pulling her even closer, the blonde wanted to reassure herself of the others presence. Even now it felt like a dream. She was really here by her side, wasn't she?]
