So I came across this quote, I don't know who wrote it but it really got me thinking and put me in a bad mood.
"After a while you will learn the difference between holding a hand and falling in love. You begin to learn that kisses don't always mean something. That promises can be broken just as quickly as they are made and sometimes goodbye is really forever."
How depressing but completely true is that? When I was younger love could conquer all! I had a boyfriend in high school, my first love. Everything was so much better more passionate back then. I will always remember him. Not in detail, of course, but I will always remember the way he made me feel. I havn't found that feeling again yet. I'm growing impatient I think. Is that quote how life and love really is? Is love conquers all just a piece of optimistic bull shit??
What are your thoughts?
