One of the entertaining things about going back and cleaning up the archive is that I get to revisit old links that I posted. I used to post waaaaay too many weird/gross/WTF links; I don't know how you guys ever stuck around.
Anyways, some of my revisits lead to interesting revelations. For instance, I found out that
this Citroen C4 commercial was just the
beginning of a series. There's even
a parody of the first commercial!
Also, I was reviewing
this post which talks about the
Sorry Everybody website. Just for old times sake, I clicked on over and found that it's now the
Hello Everybody project! It looks like it's just taking off, so if you feel like contributing, get to it!

Well, it looks like I got through NaBloPoMo again, in a fashion. I found, interestingly enough, that I'd try to write my posts with some kind of cohesiveness, like a mini essay, even though this is more of a personal journal than a formal blog. I'd also catch myself planning posts, integrating things I found online or expanding on something that happened to me that day. I don't know if this is just my process of writing, or if it's my inherent desire for neatness rearing its neatly coiffed head yet again. Hmmmm. >_>

EDIT:
Guy attempts to learn yabusame, or Japanese archery from horseback, in one week. It's actually the pilot episode for a new TV show, Trial By Fire, on The History Channel. The commenters don't seem to have the most positive things to say about Tim Ferriss. I myself got a little hung up over the "a rare and brutal samurai sport" quote. 'Rare,' I can maaaaybe give, but 'brutal'? What makes it so brutal? I don't see how it's any different from swinging around a broadsword. Besides, aside from the Heian and Kamakura periods (roughly), yabusame was mostly ritualistic, I believe. I'll probably end up watching this in one form or another.
