But you should definitely take a look. beatonna, or Kate Beaton, creates the most delightful and downright hilarious history comics. They are totally made of awesome. She is totally made of awesome.
To start you off, twenty history comics.
And some personal favorites:
I've never played FFXII before. My only knowledge of it comes from several YouTube videos that flyghosh showed me of stupid Vaan moments and her favorite sky pirates Balthier and Fran. At that time, I thought Balthier and Fran made for an interesting pair: friends, comrades-in-arms, sky pirates. Their partnership already pushed the right buttons for me, but never played the game, not enough info, and so on.
Then, I found this today. (NOTE: Nothing improper, but it does hint at things so perhaps not the best thing to be viewing at work.)
Count me in; I am now 100% behind this ship. :3

- What really went down at Ganryujima. Bonus: Live-action Miyamoto Musashi vs. Sasaki Kojiro. From MUSASHI (you know, the one where Matsuoka Masahiro makes one fine Kojiro).
- Funny accent is funny. I'm ashamed to admit that my brother and I busted our guts cracking up over the second panel.
