A Cricket's Song
It's been a really long time since i took such a long break and do almost nothing.
And i'm glad for it.
For once, that buzz that's been in the background seemed to have hushed for good.
That buzz that seems to reverberate when one is restless and not @ peace.
And i'm thankful for the company of that li'l cricket that's been cricketing outside my window for the past week. =)
In the still of the night, it's the most peaceful song one can hear.
Yet somehow, little habits are creeping back.
Routine stuff and mental concepts that added to the buzz.
I know it'll probably hit full throttle once work starts and i'm caught in the rat race again.
Argh!
So this entry, is a reminder to myself.
Coz i know that one day, the buzz would probably reach a million decibels again.
When that happens, I wanna be reminded that everything that contributed to the buzz is simply not worth it.
And may i be reminded too,
of the peace i am having now,
and the cricket's song.
