I think I hit a milestone
Going through a box of things that had been packed away before the move I came across a letter my sister had written in 97. I was able to read about her leaving her husband because she was tired of him hitting her and not wanting to go through the same things as mom had and realizing that she was following mom's footsteps and not liking it one bit.
In the letter she meant it that she was never going to go back to Andy and I wish that she'd been able to stick to her guns and stayed away from him. I'm sure things would have turned out better for her if she'd stayed away from him and was able to get the proper medical care she needed before things went to hell.
It's the first time I read something Tina had written and not cried. I'm not sure if that makes me happy or not.
