*breathes a big sigh of relief*
Mom and the Spawn have made it to Arkansas safely. This is the first time in 22 years that my mom has lived outside of Florida. I know she's visited her family in the Ozarks over the years but I have a feeling she's still going to be hit with some culture shock at some point in the near future.
She'd always said that she didn't want to move from Florida because she didn't want to leave my sister and step-dad behind (even had aspirations of somehow transporting my sister to Arkansas and burying her in the family plot there). :/ I understand that more than she realizes about leaving Tina behind in that godforsaken state.
