That was astounding and even astonishing.

My first elemental response was "Oooh.... pre-e-e-e-e-t-t-t-y..." :D

Then I watched the vid again. And there were a few emotions that came through loud and clear. First, there was despair. There was anger. There was even a small amount of fear. And above it all was a sense of determination.

And this is my gut reaction to the vid.

I will say, it is extremely well done. The clips flow together beautifully. And the clips you chose fit the flow of the remix.

Oh wow...if you hadn't just confessed to not having a clear "plan" for this vid, I wouldn't believe you at all.

To me it seemed to be a perfect summary of Crichton's journey with emphasis on how the man he was wouldn't recognize (or even particularly like) the man he finally became. I liked the counterpoint between scorpy and the oft forgotten big bad of Maldis.

Lovely effects, very pretty clip choice, and *squee*

I knew that I wanted to show how he'd come to depend on a weapon after words failed, but I wasn't sure how to show that violence. That's where I'd come up against the stumbling block since I started over-thinking it and no longer allowed the music to dictate what I wanted to show and how.
